How are we not in the bottom three! Christ the bottom of this league is abysmal.

So, so frustrating yesterday.

Thought we played well. But conceding so late not only hurts but is also unforgivable given our situation even though we were a man down.

3 points for Rotherham tomorrow would be nice!
Would actually like them to stay up, Blades to stay down (obviously)
Barnsley (autos) and Doncaster to come up.
Would be a South Yorkshire Derby every other week and great for costs of travelling to away matches.

Nah, I'm with AWO. 4 home games for me right there pretty much.

Could be a very tasty Yorkshire league with Huddersfield coming down.

How on earth are Wigan just one goal away from being in the relegation zone all of a sudden, I pretty much ruled them out not so long ago.

Seems some QPR fans' fears were not exaggerated and they could be well be a late candidate - I mean, if you can't beat Rotherham at home (wasn't it their first away win this season), who can you beat?

Because if you’d done any sort of research you’d know that we’ve not won away from home since August. Three points from 51 available. The worst run in our entire history. Once the wins dried up at home we were always going to end up here.

QPR aren’t going down because we won’t be getting anywhere near their points tally. We will win a maximum of two more games this season (and that’s being optimistic). Whether we stay up or not will depend on Cook’s replacement assuming he’s sacked after we fail to beat the skintsters on Saturday.

Don't mind Bolton dropping but I like my Wigan piss ups, things don't look great for them though. Reading & Rotherham have fight, can't say the same for Wigan.

We are terrible but we lost 5 of our best players to injury (Wells, Hemed, Rangel, Cameron and Luongo). Slowly getting them all back so we will probably be okay but depressing going from play offs at the start of 2019 to relegation candidates mid March.

Warnock was manager when they last won away in Championship, 4-0 at MK Dons.

Spent one year in league one but about 2 years in Championship without a win.

Only 5 clear now. Still one win in 2019 and no manager. Need a win against Millwall on Wednesday or we are defo in a scrap and I don’t fancy our chances as we just sleep walking into it.

Norwich (A), Brentford (H), Bristol City (A), WBA (H) and Middlesbrough (A) remaining.

We'll definitely be in League One next season. Roll on Oxford (A) :bye:

Im going to be optimistic. I reckon we will get 7 points from our 3 remaining home matches and that will be enough to keep us up.

Wow, just worked out Ipswich could actually be relegated tomorrow night, though with Reading playing at Norwich that's unlikely.

Still, a far cry from the club that nearly played Champions League football this same millennium.

Leeds played a champions league semi final this millennium, they did a few years in league one too.

Leeds were a special case, they gambled on getting Champions League football every season and when that failed it backfired spectacularly and they ended up in massive debt and sliding down the leagues (similar story to Sheffield Wednesday). I don't understand how Ipswich could have ended up where they are now?

Quite easily, plenty of bigger clubs been in league one than Ipswich.

Stagnation, lack of interest from Evans and the fact players don’t view us as a big club anymore.

If you don’t strive to be successful, it’s only a matter of time before you fall away.

I know many are saying Lamberts record isn’t good, which it isn’t right now, but I’d love to see him do well with his own squad next season. He’s actually brought the club and fans back to life (and more importantly, together). All we need is for Evans to be the final piece in the puzzle and things could turn round for us.

Will be a shame to lose the 62 years in the top 2 divisions record. Only Everton, Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham better that.

Is there a reason why Ipswich fans are so optimistic about Lambert? On paper you look no better than you did under Hurst and his track record since leaving Norwich is awful but he seems to be very popular with their fans for some reason?

The football under Lambert has been particularly pleasing on the eye; and performances have improved as we've become pretty hard to beat (think it's 2 or 3 losses in our past 11). Unfortunately, as we all know we just don't have the firepower in the final third which has meant we have drawn a ridiculous amount of games 1-1.

The style of football, coupled with convincing Alan Judge to sign up to play L1 football, and the genuine calibre of our academy products plus Lamberts willingness to blood them has most fans cautiously optimistic about League One next season.

Leeds away next is a guaranteed loss so massive chance for Rotherham to put us in the bottom three for the first time away at Swansea.

We finished 7 places and 14 points above you last season and I also think many Brum fans would prefer Hurst to Monk.
Without that 9 point deduction, we would be 27 points above you right now, with a +39 better goal difference.

I wouldn’t call Monk a better manager than Paul Hurst to be honest.
Paul Hurst had a 6.7% win percentage at Ipswich, thrown to the managerial scrapheap where he still remains to be. Monk, in contrast, is doing a great job at Birmingham.

Bart linked with £3m move to Birmingham.
£3m? Really?
Birmingham? Really? Birmingham?
Championship Birmingham. Bialkowski should be on his hands and knees now begging us to sign him. It was satisfying that we were the club to hammer the last nail in Ipswich’s coffin. See you never.

Fancy Wigan to drop, Rotherham look more capable of pulling out a surprise win.

That said, unless we sort our heads out, we could be giving them a free pass on Easter Monday.
