Championship Birmingham. Bialkowski should be on his hands and knees now begging us to sign him. It was satisfying that we were the club to hammer the last nail in Ipswich’s coffin. See you never.

To be fair, I’d take £2m right now. Shocking season from him, cost us a lot of goals with errors and is on a fairly large salary now.

Yeah, I imagine so. Can play out from the back and is probably one of our best prospects along with the likes of Dozzell, Downes etc- admittedly he is a fair way ahead of these in his development.

With us having already signed Chalobah, that may add weight to the link. I imagine he could probably move on for around £3-4m, though whether he would see Bristol City as a wise career move remains to be seen- I wouldn't like to say either way - but if you believe TWTD then you're ready to offer £4m and that would be enough for us to let him go.
Contenders: Stoke, Brentford, West Brom, Derby, Forest, Boro
Mid Table: Norwich, Derby, Brum, QPR, Ipswich, Swansea, Wednesday
Relegation Fears: Bolton, Rotherham, Bristol City, Wigan, Reading

A handful of predictions. Low confidence, as we all should be, it's the Championship, after all.
Brilliant.

Relegation looks pretty damn good! :emb:

As for next season, Evans has already come out confirming the likes of Bart Bialkowski, Alan Judge, Luke Chambers and Cole Skuse will all be here next season. The only player I think is at risk to silly offers would be Bart, but he won't be going anywhere for 3M - despite a poor season.

That's us down now I think. Everyone around seem to be getting results in games where you wouldn't expect them to get anything. Reading at Norwich and Bristol City, Millwall against West Brom and Blades and Wigan against Norwich and now Leeds. The game is crazy!

We have to got to Villa on Monday. They've won nine in a row, so I wouldn't be too despondent just yet.

And we were utterly hopeless today. And our best player is out for the next week or so.

One more win should be enough for us on the basis that Rotherham won’t win all three of their games left. We have to get it against PNE or Brum. I can’t handle another last day ding dong!

5 points clear of Rotherham now - I reckon a win against West Brom on Monday will confirm our safety.

Bolton gone, least of their problems seemingly. Rotherham are effectively 4 behind with goal difference and Millwall have the game in hand, would be shocked if they get out of it with their awful away form.

Tomorrow's game against Brum is winnable but I think it will only delay the inevitable looking at last 2 games v WBA and Boro.

Hats off to Jose Gomes, I criticised his appointment thinking he didn't have the nous or experience to keep us up - he's proved me wrong. Affable bloke who has got our players playing expressive football rather than the negative shit Paul Clement served up which took us nowhere. There are some good foundations to build on now.

His January signings were key - Lewis Baker, Matt Miazga, Emilano Martinez have been excellent and hopefully we can keep them at the club in some capacity, loan or permanently. Also thankful that we didn't let Clement have that window to conduct more horrible business like his acquisitions of David Meyler, Sam Baldock and John O'Shea last summer.

We’re safe as well. Thank the lord! Now to hopefully kick on next year, will be a big challenge as we’ll lose our two best players. Let’s see how committed our new Hong Kong overlords really are.

i think even the most pessimistic Millwall fans would admit we’re *probably* safe now. Big changes needed in the summer.

You would think so with Rotherham's remaining two fixtures, 1 more point should do it for you.

Weird and also sad the way his career's turned out, worked at some of the biggest clubs in Europe, and did a miracle job in keeping Swansea up and I felt was hard done by getting the boot there. I suppose though long-term he's assistant manager material at best.

He apparently fell out with a number of players and spent little time at the training ground. He always came across as rather droll in his press conferences and the football was slow and drab. Gomes comes across as a likeable bloke and the players seem to have given 110% under his management, the same can't be said for when Clement was in charge.
