Wednesday, you're a disgrace for letting the blues take the piss at home. Bad result.

6 pointer at Oakwell on Saturday. Fancy us to win by at least three.

Just to compound Sunderland fans' misery we're still only 2 points off safety in a season we should have been long cut adrift by now. It's the hope I can't stand.

We are bad at the minute and unfortunately until some of the first team players start to return that isn't going to change. Every time someone gets closed to fitness they seemingly breakdown again and end up out for another 4/5 weeks, no idea what has happened on the medical side at Hillsborough this season but its completely killed our season.

The '2nd' eleven that a currently playing week in week out are just not good enough and we could well find ourselves falling further into this. My hope is that we get 3/4 back through the spine in the next month or so and we should have enough to see us safe, Westwood, Bannan, Lees, Hooper come back and suddenly it doesn't look as bad but at this moment in time i can't see where the next win is coming from.

Massive win for Hull today at Forest. First away win since October. The Barnsley game next Saturday is a big 6-pointer despite there being still 15 games to be played.

Rescheduled due to FA cup. Wouldn't worry though, one of those relegation spots is ours.

I hope so. Don't think Hull would bounce back from relegation straight away if they returned to L1.

We're probably more in this than the mid table thread at the minute, although 1 win will change that. 6 clear after Hull won yesterday, we picked up another point away at Barnsley which isn't the worst result considering we had 14 players out, and it keeps Barnsley away from us in the drop zone. We seriously need to get a few back fit because we're relying on a few development squad kids at the minute, who in fairness have done really well, Luhukay has a massive job on his hands and really needs to pick up 3 points on Tuesday night.

Yesterday we were missing these players-
Kieren Westwood
Glenn Loovens
Tom Lees
Joost Van Aken
Daniel Pudil
Sam Hutchinson
Kieran Lee
Barry Bannan
Almen Abdi
Marco Matias
Fernando Forestieri
Gary Hooper
Steven Fletcher

Has any club ever had such a ridiculous injury crisis?

I think Brentford had worse at the start of the season.

I'd be worried because an injury list that long indicates that a good chunk of those players have poor fitness levels, which is undoubtedly linked to issues of attitude and confidence.

Apparently Carlos doesn't do much fitness work in pre season it's all ball work, which explains why we've had so many this season and the previous seasons he was in charge. Bit of a mess really and relegation is an outside bet at the moment.

We're both a joke , we just happen to have the bragging rights as we speak, no doubt it will change next season.

You are genuinely in a relegation scrap at the minute. Why the fuck would you rearrange a game with derby who are the form side in the league against yourselves who are the worst in the league for Tuesday. Arrange it for April when you might have some players back

Knowing how mad this league is we'll probably beat them, or get a thrashing...

Considering all you do is try and draw 0-0 I fancy derby to win 3-0.

Have to agree with you on that. S’land found a bit of fight on Saturday but they’ve been consistently shite all season. Burton have fight but times running out. Barnsley seem to have quality but not getting the results. How you’ve only just fallen into the bottom three is surprising given the prolonged run of poor results.

Nigel Atkins may yet save you. Two sandwiches short of a picnic that one

That sees Wednesday safe anyway although they were never really likely to get dragged in.

Not sure 3 wins in 18 sees us safe, got to pick up 3/4 more wins for me.
