Who will be in the top 7

Too early to call who’ll make the automatics though TRFC certainly in contention. Cambridge, Forest Green, Salford, Cheltenham and Carlisle would be the others in my top 7. Notlob and Bradford the most likely to make a late run, though have questions about their management. The Horwich team should be performing better with that squad, while Bradford also have a strong squad, but if they do have a rocky spell, will their relatively inexperienced bosses be able to pull them out of it?

Those houses were built on green fields almost a hundred years after Forest Green Rovers FC was formed in 1889.

As i am not a qualified teacher and not getting paid for it anyway i will not be taking on the role of educating any morons on this subject. I will simply recommend that certain people could be better served asking Queen of the South fans why they are named after the South when Scotland is clearly in the North and there is no such place on any maps. If that is to hard he could bother Schalke fans about their name or Ajax fans or Atalanta fans. Atalanta, how can a football club be named after a mythical goddess. Ludicrous. Not a proper club. Young Boys from Switzerland once had a 35 year old goalkeeper. Deduct points from them. How about changing the name of Bolton Wanderers to truly reflect the club. Supported by a Bleeding Idiot FC perhaps.

It is, but the place existed before those were built, was a Hamlet previously but now part of Nailsworth.

The club plays in Forest Green, which is why a number of our fans are against a move, wanting to keep Forest Green in Forest Green.

Tranmere has been around long enough to be mentioned in the Domesday Book. The club was formed by people who lived in Tranmere. It would have been strange to name the club anything else really. Strange to a normal person anyway. If the name of a football club bothers you there is serious cause for concern.

Tranmere isnt of norse origin. It is a norse word. It means Small lake (mjeir) with cranes (Trane) on it. Even Norwegians recognise this so who are we to argue. Its anglicised in spelling but not how it is said. Tran myer.

'Barrow' is a mixture of Norse and English elements, although to be honest I did not think of them, because I was only considering the established League clubs.

The others like Grimsby and Derby are of Danish origin.
