Have always been confident the team would get better as the season progressed. It has been a rocky road thus far undoubtedly, but there is great reason for optimism going forward and we are still in three cup competitions with a decent shot this week at getting to the final in one of them (Man Utd, is in err 1), and getting better in the league whilst Man Utd have full weeks to prepare for the games like Liverpool last season, and doing eff all with it.

The gap is five points at the moment, I would expect it to be more than that after those eight games. We do still have Chelsea, City and Arsenal to play after that but only one of those games is an away fixture (against Chelsea). No sweat
