I may have mid-read, but didn't Sting appear and point at Lesnar this week?

Nope. He appeared just as the Authority were about to screw Cena and pointed at HHH, causing the distraction for a Cena win. Lesnar then turned up to lay into Rollins after last week's curb stomp.

No mate,

Sting appeared, pointed at the Authority, cena got the pin off the distraction, Sting left, Lesnar came out and took out the Authority.

I really think Rollins is going to win, but then I think who will Lesner face? Or will he just fuck off again?

Sting helps Rollins win in the biggest swerve in WWE History which sets up Sting Vs Lesnar Vs HHH at Mania.

Fuck outta here.

Raw has destroyed them, they were outstanding as champs on NXT. Another reason I want Balor, Itami, Owens, Neville, Zayn etc to stay with NXT.

I agree, but, WWE has booked them against the Outlaws at Royal Rumble. They'll probably go over them there as a 'statement'.

That was a pretty good Raw I reckon, with a brilliant ending segment. Like I always say, I'm not exactly that clued up on Sting, but both times he's showed up now it's been cool as fuck, so he is winning me over. Then lesnar coming out afterwards to beat the fuck out of everybody was just the icing on the cake.

Thought it was an alright Raw, enjoyed the nostalgia bits, the end was awesome. tweener not give a fuck Lesnar is awesome few things better and obviously great to see Sting. I thought the Raw a few weeks ago was better when half the roster was gone. I didnt like Bryan losing though, I'm just not a huge Wyatt fan, I like him but hes not as appealable to me like Bryan, Ambrose, Ziggler are. Not liking this backto IC cha, mpion jobbing in most non title matches either. Fed up of Reigns/Big Show also. I dont see why everyone seems to think Ascension are getting buried, maybe I will eat my words but they debuted and beat the former tag champions, they have been given the dominant squash treatment like Rusev got, they have given mic time which is a rareity in itself, been cocky heels and while this week they got a deserved comeuppance by all the legendary tag teams, I fully expect them to go over Outlaws at RR and begin to back up that they are the best as they beat DX and move on to eventually face Usos at WM.

Lot's of Rumours about Raw being cancelled tonight, but still going ahead from the most recent official reports.

Rumour's obviously spread in an attempt to empty the arena and to put a dent in the viewing figures

Best thing that could have happened to Raw and Reigns, is a week for people to calm down.

It's now been cancelled according to the deputy police chief of Ct.

Rumour is they'll replay the Rumble...but, surely not :fish:

Gonna be well weird having no crowd, maybe they should have the Roster out there when it's not their match.. Making up their own songs and shit.

Must say, I don't envy WWE's position right now... not only do they have to perform some major damage control, they're also left having to improvise this Raw due to the weather. Perhaps it'll be easier for them to try to get Reigns to win people over without an arena full of people shitting all over him...?

An entire show in front of an empty arena? Yikes.

Although anyone remember that Halftime Heat match?

They've announced they will run a Smackdown show on Thursday...but they will be going live from WWE HQ this evening at 8pm there time.

So there will be 'something' going on.

And now on Smackdown it's Bryan vs Kane in a casket match.

Why?

I actually enjoyed all of the interviews, Reigns did well, Brock really oozed as a cocky unstoppable champion, Rollins really blended arrogance (at times misplaced, but done to this effect so well) and determination sublimely and Heyman.

Well, Heyman was Heyman.

What is disappointing is that these were all really positive and exactly how they should start building this match, but it has to come off the back of this ridiculously negative backlash due to totally disastrous booking. I read one idea somebody had and that was instead of bringing Reigns back when they did (to get lost in a Big Show feud, which is career suicide for anybody at this point) they should have brought him back as a surprise Rumble entrant. I think that would have probably served him much better.

I will say one thing, the revisionism online is quite worrying, so many people are absolutely convinced Reigns will get booed all the way to Wrestlemania, despite the fact he got one of the best pops on the show week after week and only got booed in a very "smart" city which was actively preparing to boo him (it wasn't organic, it was planned). He is over, he needs work done to him (like last night where they accentuated his actual positives, working with Heyman will help this too) granted BUT the idea that he is going to get "Die Rocky Die" treatments is stretching things.

Also, I agree with mase.

Why do we need ANOTHER Bryan v Kane match? I appreciate they have history (which they've milked to death now) and that Kane is one of the safest guys to work with for a guy coming back from injury, but it's what, the third or more time in a few weeks?

Exactly, and not only that, why is it a casket match out of nowhere? ZERO build up to what is usually a pretty big match. It's usually one that would end a feud (and Bryan used words to that affect last night) so why the fuck is it happening on Smackdown with no real build up or reason for us to buy into the idea of a casket match? Yes they've fought 3 times previously but it's not had any real story to it or any reason for the fans to get invested in it, it's just been Kane coming up against Bryan at the wishes of the authority and nobody is really that interested.

It's just piss-poor booking yet again

Have to admit, while Raw was obviously mostly a write off, I did enjoy the interviews. Well, not Daniel Bryans... "I failed". Fuck off. I'm even angry at Bryan for agreeing to sell himself out by saying that. Again, insulting.

But other than that... Rollins was superb and continues to prove himself as being pretty much the best thing going in WWE right now. Loved his interaction with Lesnar... looking like he was going to cowardly just back off, then flipping that chair. It's superb that he's a cocky hell who's actually got some balls as well.

And... honestly, that Heyman/Reigns/Lesnar segment did sell that main event to me a bit. Granted though, that's because Heyman could sell ice to the eskimos... and while he carried the segment, Reigns and Lesnar did their parts well as well. I like this idea of Lesnar, being as unbeatable as he is right now, having absolutely no respect for Reigns as an unproven challenger.

I enjoyed the interviews, though was alot of kayfabe breaking going on. Surprised they outright said to Reigns alot of people are saying you arent ready and that p[eople are saying the higher ups hand picked him when in kayfabe the higher ups are supposed to hate Reigns. I liked Bryans cheeky little dig of "well then again I didnt have The Rock helping me out or WWE feeding me my entire career." I dont think he will end up in the main event of WM, I think they did a good job hyping it on Raw but I'm not sure how they are going to continue it for 8 weeks, Lesnar will probably appear 2-3 times but that promo felt like a go home show promo, not quite as good but like Rock and Austins sit down with JR. Looks like they are rushing Cena/Rusev as they realised what the fuck are they going to do for Fast Lane but like No Way out used to be they can still builld up feuds for it and then have it set up new ones in the build to Mania, NWO had some cracking matches in the past, HHH/Austin, Rock/Hogan, think HHH/Foley as well in HIAC.

Fantasy booking time but I would have done and perhaps it could still happen is next show have The Authority come out and say that as Curtis Axel didnt enter the match, there wasnt 30 participants and thus the result of the Rumble is invalid. You could then have a company wide tournament to determine the number one contender to face Lesnar, be a chance for WWE to gauge reactions and have flexibility to change their mind but could then just have Reigns win the tournament. .Have the final at Fast Lane - Reigns vs Bryan, the atmosphere would be brilliant. Have it be a real back and forth match, give it loads of time, have Reigns really step it up and put on a terrific match. Bryan then congratulates him after the match and urges the fans to let Reigns have his moment as hes earned it now.
