I like fantasy booking.
I think there could be some good substance to Curtis Axel not being in the Rumble. I'd build him up quite strongly for a bit, make him look as if he's going to win this company wide tournament that Eamonn suggested. It could be the start of a Bryan turn where he becomes increasingly more frustrated at not getting anywhere near the top since his injury and starts to resent his time in WWE. It started with Wyatt going over Bryan at Raw, an early Royal Rumble elimination, it can carry on with Bryan losing to Axel in this tournament and have Reigns winning it against someone quite well established, maybe Rollins? You could add a few little losses on Raw with some roll up wins out of nowhere. Introduce Ziggler who tries to help Bryan get through it but is on the end of a bitch slap which could set up an interesting little feud and an awesome Wrestlemania match. Reigns still gets his time at Wrestlemania against Lesnar.
