It was public knowledge Stu Bennett had asked to leave for a bit. He has just posted on Twitter that he wants to expand his horizons and that he will be back in the ring at some point

Shame though as he was a very good dependable wrestler (when not injured)

Disappointed to see Barrett on the list but not too surprising given recent rumours. I imagine he will be much better utilised on the independent scene (see Drew Galloway).

They overstate their branding nowadays but it's what everyone has been clamouring for.

Raw has been good to great every week since Wrestlemania. The depth they've added to the main event programme has genuinely got me intrigued to see how they're going to play it out. Everything makes sense and feels fresh.

That ending segment of RAW was ok the only bit i don't get is, as soon as Natalya puts Charlotte in the sharpshooter, she starts to tap out. Despite no prior physical fight or anything else. Literally, Nattie puts the sharpshooter on her and he starts tapping like no tomorrow.

Now that's fine if we're trying to make out the sharpshooter is unbearable etc. but come the PPV (or any other match for that matter) the sharpshooter will be applied and Charlotte will be able to hang on for a minute or so and then muster the strength to get to a rope. So why can she hang on after 10/15 minutes of a match but taps straight away in a segment.

That's not a knock on teh two women involved, it's something I've always wondered when they do angles like this, it's just stupid when you think about it.

Not necessarily. You can explain it by saying tapping out is a means to preserve yourself for a match.

It does seem a bit silly, but the way I always look at it is that it's the cowardly heel just kind of saying "I give" and begging for the hold to be released... but when a match/a title is on the line, they're willing to endure a bit longer to try to reverse/escape and win.

But yes it's a bit stupid.

Only just seen. Cody is in the same boat as Barrett as guys with great potential that was squandered through years of creative negligence. Unlike Barrett, I believe Cody was still salvageable. The best thing they did with him was build up the Rhodes family being fired angle, which led to that great match against The Shield. The lack of follow up was typical.

Hopefully he comes back in a year or so with a fresh start. It could be a good thing in that sense.

Aw man, FUCK that. Cody Rhodes was awesome. You look at every gimmick the guy was handed in his career... good and bad... the legacy thing, being a son of Dusty, the "dashing" thing, the moustache, the "ugly" paper bagging Cody, teaming with Goldust, and then Stardust... they've been all over the place, but one thing has remained consistant: Cody did a fucking killer job with all of them. And he's very under rated in the ring as well. I really do think he's a guy who would have made a worthy world champ one day... always have, always will.

I can see him going back one day, and yeah, it may help... but what would have been better is if WWE actually pulled their finger out and PUSHED THE GUY for once. Because, like everything else he ever did with WWE, he'd nail it. Again.

The recent emergence of NJPW becoming an international brand is making it easier for WWE talent to leave. The Bullet Club being one of the most successful brands in wrestling is a testament to the influence NJPW and ROH can have on the industry. There's good money to be made and careers to be reignigted, why stick around in WWE and go stale?

Really disappointed with that. No need for it at all, are they scared Seth is gonna be more popular than Roman or something? Could've been similar to Roman v Styles - both tweenerish characters. Shame, but we'll see.

Golden opportunity. The irony is, they want Reigns to be liked - if he went all badass heel for a year the fans would probably respect him a hell of a lot more.
