Battleground is more than 30 days away which a first violation covers. He will be written out of storyline until then I reckon

Just heard. Huge! Bet they're pissed they made that match now. Even though he should be back in time for it he won't be involved in any of the build and it'll surely cause a loss of trust in him from the company going forward. Who knows though, could we see a heel Roman upon his return? Could end up being a plus.

My mistake, I assumed Battleground was sooner.

They'd have obviously known before Sunday, they don't announce suspensions that quickly. Squeeze the 30 days perfectly between MITB and Battleground so he can work both. I do think he'll come back full-on heel though.

still baffles me how people are keeping up the whole idea of him being bad when he's clearly had a very good 14-ish months. Some superb matches and development in other areas. Ambrose on the other hand hasn't had anything above a 3 star match since he was part of the Shield and his character remains banal - he wrestled in the indies though which makes him cool (it means he's been wrestling for 12 years and should probably be a lot better than he is also) - we can only hope he's a transitional champion used to set up the often teased Shield triple threat showdown.

He's bland as fuck and shit on the mic.

So is Ambrose.

Rollins is infinitely better than both of them.

Rumours are WWE knew about this before MITB so this is essentially the reason he dropped the title. And the triple threat should still happen. Interesting to see how they write him off TV though.

what is going on with this sub-forum? people generally disinterested with the product or just not getting time to post?

personally i am starting to get quite excited about the brand split, mainly due to the rumours of some of potential ex-employees returning .another rumour that was started is that Ricochet has finished up with Lucha Underground, so he could potentially be coming in to NXT to replace an outgoing Finn Balor?

as long as Khali isnt involved it should be quite good

I'm not really sure why this sections been pretty dead as of late. I actually think that the product has been pretty damned great since Wrestlemania...

Yeh there's not necessarily a lot wrong at the minute but just don't feel the "buzz". Summer is often a bit of a slump for WWE I believe. Brand split will be interesting - definitely gonna be two world champs judging by their new use of "WWE Champion" rather than "WWE WHC". Big gold belt?

From the very little I have seen the way they have engineered the brand split has been extremely poor.

You could have had a big Shane/Steph rivalry for control which meant a brand split, instead we get this rather meek announcement in advance and Steph and Shane getting on fine. Not even a battle between them over who runs which show, maybe it will start to pick up in the next few weeks but I doubt it.

Nah, what they'll do is they'll go and do the worst possible thing that ever comes out of the brand split...

Worse than having two world champions, or splitting up any cool teams, or stopping some really cool sounding potential matches from happening in the near future... They'll think that we actually give a shit about one brand vs the other.

UGH. How fucking tiresome were those Raw vs Smackdown feuds? Where they treated it as if we'd all be rooting for one team or the other, or had a loyalty to one team or the other, when actually people do not give the flyingest of fucks...

So yeah. The split will happen, and then Summerslam will be UTTERLY RUINED by some god awful cross brand feud that nobody outside of the actually WWE actually gives a shit about.

The Rollins Report segment on RAW was great.

Good to see that the WWE creative team are still watching TNA too, ripping off the recent Hardy match with the New Day and the Wyatts.

I'm quite looking forward to the draft, just a bit unsure how they will make Raw decent in three hours with half a roster.

Pretty obvious it was gonna be Steph V Shane but like the general manager twist, assume Steph will go for triple h but wonder who Shane will get.

Also Ambrose Rollins for the title next week should be good, is Romans suspension up by then if so I fully expect him to interrupt if not not sure how it will pan out but can't see Ambrose dropping title so soon.

Enjoyed the Wyatt New Day compound scrap. Hope the way Xavier has been acting last few weeks doesn't lead to them splitting up New Day.

Also Brock/Orton, eh? What's that about at Sunmerslam, bit random.

Anyone watch the cruiserweight championship? Wrestling already better than most main stream wwe shows

Gran metalik and kota ibushi already signed to nxt contracts as a result, and a few other have wrestled in the latest tv tapings, probably as a pre empt to losing people to the draft

Yeah I watched episode 1, it was pretty great. Really like how they're going about it... giving the backstories on all of the wrestlers prior to the matches. I find myself getting invested in these matches even though I'd literally never even heard of the guys until a couple of minutes before the match starts

But yes, a heck of a lot of talent on display. This CWC is gonna be fun as hell.

They have announced the rules for the draft... 6 picks from the nxt roster and for every 2 picks smackdown has raw has 3 because it's a longer show

Also tag teams go as one entity unless the gm specifically only wants one of them

I hope dudleys get split and we see a bully ray top heel on smackdown

The most interesting part for me is the 6 NXT superstars part... I wonder who those would be...

Logic would suggest Balor (surely a dead cert), Bayley, America Alpha, Nakamura and... Joe? Though him being the champion may stop that. Aeries?

But it'll probably be some Dana Brooke style strange decisions instead.

Speaking of Bayley actually, that reminds me... the women are eligible for the draft, too. Was hoping they'd all be one brand really, not sure that there are enough of them to carry across two brands unless they really draft in a lot more from NXT.

I'm happy with the choice for Raw general manager, less so with the Smackdown equivalent but I'm most likely in the minority there.

They mentioned the attitude era a few times :£.

Nice clusterfuck (in a good way) of an ending to the show too, looking forward to Smackdown tonight.

Yeah I'm interested in how it's going to go. strange they've gone with two baby faces as opposing managers though.

Foley will play the heel. Something he's born to do.
Was hoping the smackdown gm would actually commentate. Which is a shame
