Congrats to the wrestlers who have grown old, which is the greatest achievement a wrestler can hope for.

Of course the result matters, Sting came back to take down the corrupt HHH who is ruining WWE, loses and then shakes his hand in a show of respect. It's abysmal story telling.

The nostalgia stuff was good fun, sure, but it's a flat and bizarre ending and doesn't fit the motivations around the match in the slightest.

I'm all for nostalgia and if used correctly (see WM30 opening), it can be really effective. But I really don't think Sting vs HHH needed it. This was Sting's first (and, for all we know, last) match in WWE, the story that the rivalry was built on was already there, we didn't need a bunch of old has-beens ruining what could and should have been at the very least a really good match. Don't get me wrong, I used to love HBK, Diesel, Razor Ramon, DX et al, but their interference tonight just wasn't necessary.

I get what your saying there is a few holes in the storyline. But then again, we won't see Sting for another year unless it's to set one more match up. To hardcore Sting and Nostalgia fans...this was all seeing him in a WWE ring. Too non hardcore, non WCW fans that wouldn't have been enjoyable at all.

I fucking loved it. Had that 'buzz' feeling in the stomach for the first time in about a decade. Ace!

It just messed up continuity completely, you could have had Sting beat some respect into HHH who then wins and humbly shakes his hand and understands error of his ways if you want Sting to lose, or something else... hell just something that makes a modicum of sense. It just soured the really fucking awesome nostalgia.
