To be fair, if we’re going down that route, anyone with a half a brain or who has played any level of football could see that was a ridiculous decision to ban him for that. It clearly wasn’t a penalty, but he clearly wasn’t trying to con the ref either. He fell down, got up straight away and tried to play on. He didn’t appeal or even look at the ref.
