Just him and tinpot trying to outwum each other on our match-thread... don't think there was any Carver/Oxford antagonism until that point

I wasn't trying to outwum anybody.

You saw what he was like in that thread though, completely dissing Carlisle.

1) Not to be relegated
2) John Akinde to stay/MA to go
3) Luisma, Ricky Holmes, Albert Adomah and Jason Puncheon to all return over the January transfer window. MA won't play them of course, they'd not be useful to his plan of not playing any technically able footballers, but it'd be a nice little morale boost for a few days.

1. We win every single remaining game that we have of 2016.

2. We begin work on a really nice new stadium.

3. Keith Curle and our best players sign new contacts.

Well not really no, when did I ever disrespect Plymouth, Cambridge or Mansfield for example? There are plenty of clubs I like in this division for different reasons.

By predicting a victory and saying we could have won the game :lol::lol:

It was the manner in which you said it, you completely ignored our good form and high position in the league and you belittled us even more by saying that we're nothing more than a workmanlike team who don't know how to play football. Even though we had more possession and shots on target in the match.

I get this... I still think you were involved in a bit of a wum-off though.

For several seasons we've been a pushover. Rarely mentioned without the prefix 'lowly' and on the rare occasions we beat someone it's usually passed off as lucky and undeserved... we hear the sentence 'we really should be beating the likes of Carlisle' a lot. Gives us a bit of a complex and even now we're having a decent season we still hear it from time to time. Mostly from fans who don't bother to check the league table before the match. So we might overreact a little when someone describes us as workmanlike, or says they should be beating us.

You're right and I must add that people like 'Tinpot' who describe us that way clearly don't know what they're talking about and it eventually comes back to bite them!

It's funny you use that "We should be beating likes of Carlisle" quote, I don't know if you knew but when Michael Raynes played for Stockport he said something exactly like that when we played them once. I only know because someone brought it up when we signed him in the summer, so I suppose that makes him a twat then lol.

But yeah we always have been seen by others as a lowly club to be looked down on, even when we demolished this league 10 year ago I remember Darlington's manager talked a load of bollocks about us right before we went onto beat them 5 nowt at their 25,000 seater empty bowl where we outnumbered the home fans!! Kev Gray and Chris Lummy apparantly mocked their manager after the match banging on Darlington's dressing room door and calling him.

Like it came back to bite you on the arse last season on 1FF when you kept slagging Wycombe off and we did the double over you :fl: Your constant wumming and abuse got you banned and rightly so as admin had enough of your bollocks. You threatened myself with violence which was hilarious Carver as you're a pussy who'd run away if you saw me coming at you leaving a trail of shit behind you :box:  Won't be long before you need another forum to post shite on as you'll no doubt get banned from here as well. :fing:

Priceless boy! Do you deny threatening me on 1FF? You did it on here in the Wycombe v Carlisle thread as well, leave your bedroom and talk to girls but then again they'll tell you to fuck off as well no doubt.

I remember him saying about playing us when he was with Stockport, he played in the match where they guaranteed their survival with a draw against us when we were already champions. Can only assume this was said earlier on in his career when he was probably quite right to say they should be beating us. I can't fault people for saying they should be beating us when they should, it just rankles when people assume without looking that tiny little Carlisle must be knocking around the bottom of the table again.

You two are as bad as each other some times. If he threatened you with physical violence on 1FF then presumably he was banned because he overstepped the mark, rather than simply being banned for wumming.

I have no problem with anyone threatening me to my face but i despise cowards and keyboard warriors who post abuse and threats knowing we'll never meet.

Are you talking about the time when you said Carlisle were quickly catching up to Oxford?
:lol::lol:

You know, even if you ignore the fact that you're getting so wound up about the same 3-0 prediction I make regardless of team or competition or context, you're currently getting wound up by comments I made about the style of play adopted by your team, when I have freely admitted that I haven't see them play.

I hit 'ignore' on FootballMad's account a long time ago, pretty sure he's a 15 year old boy or something like that. Either that or a WUM, neither of which I can be arsed with.

That comes from having far more shitter seasons than good ones, mostly thanks to us being run by a trio of unambitious geriatric old farts who just won't.....err.....retire.

Pfft I thought you were alright, obviously not.

Well I'm neither a kid or a wum, I'm actually a proper fit 23 year old girl who you're missing out on.

Anyway if I start any match threads that get going you'd have to unignore me to see them.

You've wasted 2 wishes there sunshine you wish-making novice!

Yeah, but given how we are this season winning more games would mean just winning 1 more, so I'd need to keep topping the wish list up.
