Exact same thing happened to us at Blundell Park last season, both players go in studs up, their lad decided he was in agony (which disappeared as soon as the red came out). They turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 win so chalk another one up for the dark arts.
The referee was just keen to even things up for WHAT CHALLINOR DID that we don’t really like to mention around these parts.

Bradford and Mansfield fans booking their Wembley travel, is it?

All joking aside, without really delving into it too much, it seems to me that Stevenage have been lucky so far with injuries. They don't appear to have an awful lot in the way of backup and seem to play the same 14/15 players week in week out. Not sure what their Jan business was like, but I'd imagine they're a few injuries away from a collapse. However, if that doesn't come then they'll go up automatically you'd think. Very consistent side. Have to give massive credit to Evans, he's probably currently on for manager of the season as much as nobody wants to admit it.

That was accurate up until January, we were lucky pretty fortunate with injuries, the noteable exception being Elliott List who picked up an injury vs Tranmere on the opening day and is only just on the cusp of a return now. We had a few niggles and such but were largely ok until January.

We certainly used the January window to strengthen the squad, on paper at any rate. We lost our starting left back in January but retained everyone else in the core matchday squad.

Injury wise we've lost 4 or 5 of the regular starters in recent times, first choice keeper out for 6 or 7 weeks, his replacement going off injured today, currently down to third choice. Players are dropping like flies at the moment, so the January recruits have had to come in and try to fill the gaps. Probably explains our in different form in recent times.

Didn't catch any of the game but feared the worst when I saw the teamsheet had a back 3 with an average age of 16. Had to take something out of that, red card ruined it, looks a soft one.

Staring down the barrel a bit unless we can up it for the next few games.
