Sutton the third play-off team we've outplayed this month - came for a point, managed to go home with one. Just a shame we were dreadful for three months, otherwise we'd be pissing this tinpot play-off battle.

Enjoyed the game today!! disappointed we did;nt win in the end but would have taken a point before the game. its been the same story for us all season we make chances but got no one to put them away, if andy cooke had been playing for us we would have won comfortably i have got sympathy for the bradford keeper who got caught out because some dipshit did;nt paint out the rugby 22mtr line so a yellow card was correct it was never a red, whats worrying for me is if you take away Bogles penalty's our 2 centre halves are our top scorers

If you had Andy Cook we'd probably swap positions. We've been picking up plenty of points recently and the majority of those are thanks to Cook.

How cringe are the people who run the twitter over at Northampton, posting two stills of the 'incidents' that frustrated the manager today, get a fucking grip and stop whittle arsing on, every team every season has to put up with bad calls, it's football, get on it with.
I wonder what he thoughts are on Northamptons time waiting from the first minute, until they went behind.

Northampton’s media guy seems as much of an immature clown as ours can be sometimes

Deserved a point. Carlisle complete opposite of Orient last week - but effective. Fantastic turn out from their fans.
Thought you were one of the best sides we've played TBH, just missing that final ball. The contrasting styles of the two sides made it a very entertaining game. I thought we edged the first half, but you got on top after the triple change you made. 1-1 would have probably been a fair result, in all honesty.

We’ve done the double on Rochdale with two 1-0 wins but both games we could’ve been dead and buried by half time.
I guess that’s why they are bottom and we’re mid table, a couple of seasons ago that was us at the bottom missing chances in games before falling to sucker punches.

Tranmere seem content with their mid table position.

Not too disappointed with just a point today despite our forums meltdown, we are probably a playoff team at best tbf. We are far too inconsistent to warrant an auto promotion place, I personally have no problem with this scenario as it's a huge improvement on what we've witnessed over the last few years

It is difficult to disagree, although we did have half of our normal first team missing today.

Our last 12 goals have been scored by 11 different players. Of the 17 man squad we named today, only three (the two goalies and a loanee backup left back we've hardly used) haven't scored this season.

The fans certainly aren’t going by the forums. If we’d been able to invest in players the same extent as you in the January window, probably a top 7 side.

Half is a slight exaggeration. We were missing 3 regulars in Davies, Morris and Hemmings, while had Brad Walker not been so injury prone, he’d be starting.
More telling was the lack of squad depth, only able to name 5 subs, all of whom were either young or inexperienced.

Only 2 defeats since Boxing Day suggests we are fairly consistent at the moment mate.

Autos still within our grasp in my opinion

Fuck you getting at Forza for? Done nothing wrong the lad.

The stench of boiled piss emanating from Hartlepool shows no sign of subsiding despite many attempts of reconciliation.

We love wacky Hartlepool fans and their fanncy dress. It really does seem a one way street and it makes me sad.

All Hartlepool ever see is shit week in week out.
That's why their fans here are a bunch of bitter miserable gits and who can blame them?
I'm just unsure who I'd rather see stay up out of them and Crawley because we usually beat both teams with relative ease.

Ah it's got to be Hartlepool hasn't it? Just for the fanbase here plus they're much more of a football league club than Crawley, northern too.

Dodgy goals aside from both teams I thought it was a decent game yesterday, could've been 2-2 by half time, some decent passing football played by both sides, we certainly matched if not had the better of the first half against them, second half I think we looked nervous as Northampton stepped it up and were very much on the front foot, showed why they are in the chase for top three, a good side even though they're missing a hatful of players.

I'm a lot more confident in our chances of survival with Askey in charge, getting the ball down and playing football is nice to see after the previous two managers tactics of hit it and hope.

Just seen the highlights. So apart from the fact both goals shouldn’t have stood, and the Pools lad should have walked for the elbow, it was another top notch officiating display. Standards are absolutely in the gutter this year.

It was more a fist to the face than an elbow but you're right, it's a sending off, poor reffing display all round yesterday, another name in the shit book.

Poor game at BP, lit up by a lovely George Lloyd finish. Rochdale the better team in the first, us in the second. Looked very much like they should have had a pen, so we've got away with one there. Rochdale don't look like the worst team in L2 history by any stretch, think they put together some decent passages of play and have a few players who can threaten but their finishing is absolutely woeful. It's almost like panic sets in when they get a sniff of goal. Even Henderson who often bags against us didn't seem like scoring when he came on. I hope they can pull themselves out of this but on that performance and being 5 points adrift, I'm not sure. Will be a shame as they're a good club and they're nowhere near as bad as some of the dross (including us twice) that has been relegated from this division in recent decades.

That's what I'm saying about Askey, you know with him we'll give it a go. Was a bad set of results yesterday, I do think we're favourites to go down, you'd much rather have Crawley's fixtures than ours but you can at least see there is a gameplan and the team looks like it will pick up the odd result here and there. Whether it'll be enough is a different question.

Hope that we’re still in touching distance with Crawley for the foreseeable cos that home fixture against them, 3rd last game of the season has a proper do or die feel to it.

Their March fixtures are much easier than ours but April we both have a mix of hard and winnable. If we're only 2 or 3 points off safety by this time in a month all is not lost. Crawley at The Vic will be absolutely vital.

I don,t read too much into Crawleys result yesterday, Harrogate pull one out
Of the bag every so often but most of the time they are as, (Dare i say it) bad as we were.
