Miller just scored for Dover and the Heed now 4-0 against Daggers.

Sorry, my computer must be slow...perhaps I should just say it is 6-0 and hope to catch up!

We had a great 10 mins but no 2nd goal..... shaw with a great chance, but didnt take advantage of our pressure

Tranmere have now settled and had two decent chances...
And now we're down to 10, and you lot look very dangerous.

Only just tuned in (may have been drinking last night), but the past few minutes at least it's been all Maidstone, somehow don't think we were playing like that in the bit I missed though

3-2 FT, and from what I was around to listen to we absolutely annihilated them, so we must have been shocking for the first hour

Don't think we're finished yet, but sounds like a shitter of a second half. Losing both our wingers within minutes of each other at the start of the second half wasn't ideal.

Rhead's just equalised in the last seconds of added time (6 minutes).

Maddening stuff. That was a game that was never going to just peter out, what were we thinking in the second half? We thought the game was won, and got arrogant and sloppy. The whole buildup before the first Chester goal could have been defused on multiple occasions with a simple clearance, and I'm afraid McNulty needs to take the blame for not nipping it in the bud.

Tollitt needs to shoulder the responsibility for what happened next. Whether there was light contact or not, he dived, and fairly received his second yellow. After that, it was backs against the walls without respite, and I'm grateful we escaped with a point.

Overall, probably a fair result. We were by far the better side in the first half, but Chester have got to take credit for taking it to us in the second. The ref will be the talking point yet again, but I don't think the result was in any way unjustified as a result of his actions.

Aaaaagh.

We absolutely battered you, then for some strange reason decided to sit back, and it could have cost us. I don't think you had even had a shot until your first goal, after that you dominated. Even then we still fluffed some easy chances to finish you off.

Unlucky to lose there. We certainly had the better of the chances although neither side created anything clear. Shame our decision making couldn't have been better at times.

Aldershot would've been fine, home and hosed with a deserved 3 points if they hadn't quite clearly ordered their number 19, Kanu, to roll around on the floor to try and get a stoppage as the clock ticked towards the 97th minute. Blatant gamesmanship, the ref was having none of it, long ball forward and the ball falls to Rheady who puts a sweet volley in for 3-3.

Waddock and his gang of angry lads got a bit heated with the echo stand regulars, which is something I've never seen happen in 13 years of going!

Moral of the story is, if you're gonna tell your player to go down to waste time, you must first make sure there are players within 20 yards of him to at least make it look believable. Kanu should ask for tips off Rheady, he's the master.

What an absolute car crash of a 2nd half, it was almost like Brabin's Tranmere who can't pick a simple pass and look like they've never played together came out after the break. A draw was probably a fair result but it's frustrating that it was only a two minutes before the end!

Torquay can thank keeper Moore for having a blinding game and saving his team mates from an embarrassing scoreline. 5-0 easily if it wasn't for him, he was awesome today. Two more tough away fixtures for us next in Dover and Barrow, not expecting anything from those two.

When your big massive centre back scores a last minute equaliser WITH A VOLLEY…..

Decent game that with lots going on, a point was the very least we deserved in my opinion. The ref was garbage, handballs in the build up to both Tranmere goals and Lynch was also wrestled to the ground as well for the second. He was poor for both sides though, just completely incompetent. It was an even game up until then but our players clearly felt wronged and Tranmere had the rest of the first half to themselves other than Richards sprinting clear to hit the bar for us. We were better in the second half and got back in it before Tollitt stupidly got himself sent off for diving. I couldn’t believe our luck when he did that. I was fuming with the ref at half time but I suppose we got there in the end.

Bizarre for Cook to celebrate the way he did when he scored, I thought at the time it might come back to haunt him, pretty stupid really, he wasn’t even getting any stick. No idea how the ref didn’t think it warranted a booking, he stood about five yards away letting Cook bait us for about 30 seconds! Yet, you can be booked for taking your shirt off, madness.

Anyway, enjoyable game, wish the Wrexham games were allowed to be a bit more like that.

Hard to play against 12 men; looks like a handball in the build up to both goals (need replay) and strange decisions already from the ref.

Just hit the bar , doubt we'll get many more chances.

Cook celebrated in front of our fans too... no need for that and the ref took no action
Cook controlled the ball with his hand before he smashed it home and there were 2 Tranmere handballs leading up to their 2nd and driving home McCarthy reckons young Lynch was held down. The ref was possibly unsighted for the first, but the lino should have seen it. After Tollet rightly got sent off Tranmere were just time-wasting and the GK couldn't have complained if he'd gone too after continuing to time-waste after being booked. I haven't seen the rest of this thread, but I think even the most ardent of Tranmere fans ought to admit that we were robbed of a deserved win by useless officials.

Btw Tranmere are the dirtiest team we've played this season, even dirtier than FGR and Lincoln City.
