Massive congrats to Westfields, only team from the start still in!

We got through quite comfortably surprisingly, much needed confidence boost. Hoping for the Gills in Round 1.

Pretty much all Lincoln second half but we defended quite well. Read still missed two decent chances from headers.
Replay Tuesday, generator on standby

cracking 1-1 draw at York for Curzon.

replay right away on Monday, so we may know who we get and be out about 2 hours later!

Puts pressure on york, but it actually doesn't help us alot as our home form is horrific and away form good so that gives york hope........but its the FA Cup so underdogs can win.
don't worry - York haven't won away for about 50 years ;)

Easy win. Billericay brought on comfortably the worst footballer I've ever seen to play at centre half. Must have been pushing 7ft but he could barely stand up, let alone win a header or play the ball.
That's the real magic of the cup.

Have to say how average Tranmere looked today - we had to give them a goal just to keep things fair. From a Barrow perspective, it was good to see Cook completely anonymous for 90 mins, plus McNulty looking nothing more than a fat old man that he is.
I didn't think our players played all that brilliantly as they didn't need to. Good result and should help to bring in a good crowd for the televised game in a couple of weeks.

Furious! Not at the team, but at another disgraceful decision from the referee. Kellerman has been sent off for what was a slide tackle with ONE foot (and he won the ball)! The referee got his red card out before Kellerman even made contact with the ball. One of the worst decisions i've ever seen at the Rec!

Despite that we should have got a replay but got hit with a sucker punch in the last minute while trying to win the game.

On the bright side, at least we can focus on the league...

Sutton 2 Forest Green 1. Get in. Was at work but the word 'battaling' was used a lot by my fellow Suttonites. At least FGR can concentrate on the league. Big win for us

We were never going to the win the FA Cup anyway, so we'll concentrate on winning the league and trophy
Snap, it is a nice distraction. I would have loved to get to the Third Round again, but alas not to be this season.

This is not good. Azeem is going to have to get his magic calculator out.

Should have lost, dreadful second half performance after playing half decent first half.

Was pleased in the end to hang on for a replay.

Stamford is a tidy ground for their level and a lovely town as well, enjoyable visit.

Awful result for Curzon.

Should be putting shite like York away.

That's exactly what it was billed as last season as the NLS season opener, still sounds cringy.
I agree, but pretty much any big game is now sold as a variation of El Classico...I just wish people would come up with something original.

Alfreton 2-2 Gateshead

The better side for 75 minutes and 2-0 up thanks to two absolute Howlers from a very poor Gateshead outfit who looked intent on gifting us the game. That was until Ryan Wilson made a error and let former Red Sam Jones in to make it 2-1 with 12 to play.

Nothing we could about gateshead and Jones` second. An Outstanding Volley from the edge of the box. Stunning goal.

So Gateshead get a totally undeserved replay and somehow are still in the hat for Mondays Draw.

Got to say I was very dissapointed with them. Their attitude was poor and they were intent on kicking two chunks out of our players particulary Clayton which the Ref, who was dire by the way, just allowed to continue for the game. Clayton was kicked to pillar and post and Manny Smith clearly stamped on Priestley in the second half. How they kept 11 on the pitch lord knows.

We are pretty awful away from home so i fear thats our chance gone. but we are still in the hat and this is the FA Cup so you never know..

Comfortable-ish 3-1 win. There were chances to fuck it up - we went behind, Matlock missed a pen late on, we had a man sent off, but in the next round and the season is still alive. 3 wins on the bounce!

We were more concerned with avoiding injuries to be honest mate a bit of win money would have been nice but no one gives a flying fig about the cups this year its all about the top 5, come jan being in the cup, trophy and league would mean 2 -3 extra games a month we dont need

Sounded one of those days at SB, particularly in the second half where we did everything but score.

We love an FA Cup replay.

We hold the record for the most consecutive FA Cup ties that have gone to replays (12/14 rings a bell for some reason, but I'm not 100% sure) and all our 4th round qualifying games have gone to a replay as well.

Having seen Tranmere twice now this season, Mellon's got a massive job on to finish Top 5.
Us on the other hand, we'll be in the play-offs and the next round of the cup!

Hold your horses. The reffing out doesn't commence until March if there's a serious and worrying danger of tinpotters getting in the top 5.

In all honestly, I'm not sure we will keep it up and we don't have a big enough squad to cope with an injury crisis, but we're better than teams that have finished in the play-offs in the past. Still early days in the season yet, but we don't look like being beaten at home.
