Furious! Not at the team, but at another disgraceful decision from the referee. Kellerman has been sent off for what was a slide tackle with ONE foot (and he won the ball)! The referee got his red card out before Kellerman even made contact with the ball. One of the worst decisions i've ever seen at the Rec!

Despite that we should have got a replay but got hit with a sucker punch in the last minute while trying to win the game.

On the bright side, at least we can focus on the league...

Have you ever lost a game which hasn't been the ref's fault?

Hold your horses. The reffing out doesn't commence until March if there's a serious and worrying danger of tinpotters getting in the top 5.

I think you'll find it's only 'unpopular' part-timers that get reffed out by the National League.

I actually think both us and Barrow will be in the playoffs this time around. Micky is gonna need longer than just 8 days to sort this rabble out. If we're not a hell of a lot better than that by the time we play the same fixture in the league, I'll eat a willows hotdog.

Just got back from Barrow and have to say thats the worst i've seen Tranmere play in an away game since we've been in non league. Looked like a pub team all afternoon and it took untill 16:45 pm for Tranmere to get their first shot away. Gutted to be out of the FA cup.
The playing side to Tranmere Rovers needs sorting out fast, otherwise we can wave goodbye to the play offs.

Harrogate town 0-2 FC Halifax Town

Brilliant performance from the shaymen being backed by 750+ town fans. Best performance of the season and a clean sheet against free scoring Harrogate who were limited to no clear cut chances by Scott garner and co at the back.

Hoping for either westfields at home or Sheffield united away!

Thought Wealdstone were a decent side but we always has too much for them. Cracking support from the stones good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Comfortable win in the end despite going 1-0 down within the first minute of the game. We equalised just before half time and eventually eased to a 4-1 win. Westfields at home next please.

Very pleased with todays 0-0 at Lincoln. I think that's only our second clean sheet of the season. We are certainly improving with each game. Fairly even first half but came under sustained pressure in the second. Did very well without the ball but were poor in possession, probably due to Lincolns impressive work rate and rapid closing down. That's a big old pitch to cover!
For all the stick Read gets I'd have him at Guiseley in a breath, he's superb at what he does.

Very happy to be in the 1st round.

Sounds like we weren't at our best today but got the job done.

Fair play to Sutton, worth their win though we were a bit toothless. Still, Sutton had the lion's share of the decent chances I thought. Anyway, that's enough for me, I shaln't bother going.the FA cup again this season.

From what I saw, it looked like Dagenham could up it another gear or two if they absolutely had to. Unsurprisingly we couldn't defend Ollie Hawkins (getting his customary goal against us) and Matt Robinson ticked things nicely in midfield. Maguire-Drew's goal was a classy finish but shambolic defending from us. Ciaron Brown was found out big time in that second half.

Oh well, hit the post and the crossbar and can feel aggrieved that we didn't grab another but Daggers were good value for the win.

Having seen Tranmere twice now this season, Mellon's got a massive job on to finish Top 5.
Us on the other hand, we'll be in the play-offs and the next round of the cup!
Micky Mellon's had no time to turn things around. It doesn't sound like Rovers turned up at all today and even allowing for absentees we appeared to set up negatively. However you'd have seen how poorly Barrow played at Prenton Park and their subsequent transformation. No reason Rovers can't do something similar.

Poor effort from us today, never turned up at all. First goal conceded for 700 minutes exactly, nailed on the team bottom of the league would get it as well, albeit in the cup. It was a really rubbish scraggy goal as well, deflected pot shot. Always the way.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying - Mellon will have to work wonders to get that side firing, as there's quite a few players in your side that don't look play-off material. Obviously he's not had time to have an effect yet, but he'll be quickly figuring out who he needs to replace.
That was our problem at Prenton Park - we set up too negatively, came for a 0-0 draw and were knackered when we conceded in the first half. Tranmere didn't impress that day (nor in the two games last season), and there are a few sides much better than us both in this league, so play-offs will be one hell of a battle in the later months I feel.

Same here, who cares about this shit cup anyway. We're top of the league.

Well done Sutton btw, decent outfit.

Why have Sutton got a giraffe mascot? Watching him trying to head it pre game was mildly amusing.

Probably the colours, they don't have to make an oversized shirt for it I suppose.

Played enough games on 3G myself to know how shite it is and how much players hate it

Our players love it. State of the art. And we've had lots of compliments about it. Only one lot complained about it last season (Gosport), but this season some ex-FL sides who were crap try to use it as an excuse. Like Macc, who were awful on the day.

Partly down to our Gambia links, there is a team named after us who play in Gambia, the 'story' is that Jennie the Giraffe was a gift from our Gambian side. In reality it was the winning entry in a competition

And you can't quite see the link why teams are crap on it that don't play/train on it every single day?
