you need to get out and travel a little further..........At what point did you look likely to win?

I didn’t say that?

At times we looked more likely, when neither team looked particularly likely towards the end. Thought we grew into the game and you got less potent as it went on.

We battled really well and stood up to you and that’s really positive for us when you’re likely to be up there with the best this season.

Northampton went from Div 4 in 1960 to Div 1 by 1965 but spent two seasons in both Div 3 and Div 2 getting there.

Wolves had back to back promotions from Div 4 to Div 2 87/88 and 88/89 but then it took them 14 more seasons to get the third promotion.

We aren't getting anywhere near promotion this year unless we get extremely lucky. We will do well to make the play offs imo. We need a season or so to get to the required level.

Looking at the attendance of Burton v Stevenage I think this might also be in danger of being classed as a Glue league.

No, as they didn't get promotion straight out of league 2; 2 seasons ago. We went up from conference to league 2 to league 1 all within 2 seasons. No other club has done back to back to back promotions with no gap.

Personally, I can't see us getting promoted again but by God i'm enjoying every minute of it!
