Strong team against Wrexham and a strong Bench.....No lolas, Gomas, Jones and Forrester injured and the likes of Iredale and Ndululu and Southwood not even getting on the bench

Had the run around for 25 mins but then we started to come into it. Chronic lack of quality, pace or strength up front which we know.

Still surreal and amazing to see us here in a league fixture mind, you get so used to going to Maidenhead.

Close game, think they are shading the personal battles, the only quality has come from us but to be fair only half chances............enjoying this. Both of these teams will be there or there about......Johnston first game in 13 months not put a foot wrong

I think yesterday was a better indicator of where we’re at. That we came to within 2 minutes of losing to a limited but pacey burton side was just crazy.

We missed 2 1 on 1s (not even on target) and made some defensive howlers for their 2nd and 3rd goals, but were well worth the point at the very least.

4 points from 6 is a great start.

Yesterday was proof in the pudding that until we get our defenders back particularly in the full-back positions we are vulnerable to teams that set up to catch us on the break. Our next two league games are Lincoln and Stockport, they be daft not to properly go at us from the off.

We played some proper good stuff is a positive and will create chances for fun, if only we could finish our dinners a bit better.

If we have Mullin we probably pinch a goal and win that. Impressive performance from us, definitely spoilt their party a bit there.

Okonkwo solid in goal and Revan looks a real player. Up front obviously holding us back at the moment but for us to go there and keep a clean sheet is a sign of how we're going to compete this season.

Evatt under big pressure already, fans aren't happy there.

I like Bolton as a club from when they was in the prem but Evatt always seem to be whinging and blaming everybody else when he doesn't get a result. They'll be right in the mix though

Great point for Wrexham.

Is obviously early days but you just feel like Bolton need rid of Evatt to kick on.

All L2 promotion sides still unbeaten!

Well done to Wrexham came for a point and got it, think we try and walk it into the net at times and play the ball out wide then cannot cross it, getting stronger match by match be two decent teams if they manage to finish above us.
That defence wont concede many and that attack will start firing very shortly

Stockport County.
Season ticket thrown at Ian Evatt according to SKY.

Parky will sleep well tonight. Job done for him. Got what he came for.

Excellent from us. Stood up to Bolton and at times looked more likely to win it.

Wrexham are back hello hello.

Evatt has no plan B and can't break down teams at home.

Whenever I see them it's a similar story, spells of dominance but no cutting edge.

Bolton need to move on from him this season, they have a strong squad that he will waste.

Revan for Wrexham was very good. That Adeboyejo who came on for Bolton looks shocking.

It is stubborn way he plays both home and away with wingbacks, he got found out last season
Tweaked it slightly but stays rigid with the two wingbacks.

He gets away in lge 1 because as you say he has a good squad but one dimensional

You could see the glint in the eye in Parky's interview when asked if he was happy with the point.

The recent years of just outscoring teams have now gone. I'm happy with that. Pick up points away and go for it at home. We would've lost that type of game in the last few seasons....

Mansfield and Crawley both with tough away trips next week. Although Reading and Bristol Rovers have both had solid starts to the season so would be good going if none of the four lose.

TBF, we've played a team who had worst away record last season and another who finished 18th so if we're still unbeaten after Wigan away I'll be highly delighted.
We're a 'new' team again, and what Lindsey achieves is remarkable.
Hope we keep him! If we do, we're L1 next season. Without him..............

I’d say likewise with clough, we’ve one of the best lower league managers about and while he’s about i think we’re in safe hands, it would be a different story i think if he left.

We’ve lincoln away and stockport at home next, 2 games against very similar sized clubs - the type we’d be eyeing up more points, however likewise so would they.

Given where that video has been shot from, hardly one for living on glass terraces and throwing pyros. If you excuse the metaphor.

Love to see it me, just preferably not at our own expense!

In clough you have no more than a mediocre lower league manager. He got you promoted last year after about 5 years of trying likewise Burton who went back down.
Who is he going to go too

The lower leagues are awash with younger and better managers than clough

Forgot what it was like to win an away league game, you have to go back to 20/01/24 when we beat Stoke CIty bloody hell.

As for the game, 3-2 gives a sense of the match being close, it wasn't, Wycombe as expected harried and chased and battled, and up to the own goal the match was fairly even, fair play to them, they will be sound this season That bloody Vokes always scores against us.

Blues will keep the ball and tire you out. Still not 100 percent fluid, tending to over play near the box but it will come and once it does, it will be a lot of fun to see what we can do.

Yokoyama and Harris look good additions, nice to have midfielders with an eye for a goal. Alfie May does Alfie May stuff, great to see Thor bag too. Cracking away day there, good food and drink was consumed. Which pleases me greatly.

I think yesterday's result will look a decent point for both sides come the end of the season. We're happier with the point than Bolton obviously but both teams played some decent stuff and we were largely happy to frustrate them.

Much prefer a hard fought 0-0 than some of the early games last season when we had forgotten how to defend.
