They missed a trick not using Xavier's School on Meatboy when they held it also, as further to what you've already mentioned.

We can't believe they didn't do that.

This is giving them a heads up for WHEN they win it back.

Yeah I said this after a few weeks* but by then we were in a bit of mess already and there wasn't the time to start building. By the time we had the school it was a bit to late really. If and when we play this again that's very much the logical choice with him.

*I mooted the idea of giving him our first dice upgrade but we weren't to sure how common they would be at that point.

I can think of a few things we could have done better as a team tbh. Sitting on items for longer, for one. Most of you guys do and it gives teams summat to be wary of. Vibe in our PM was normally more like WE GOT A POISON WHO DO WE USE IT ON RIGHT FUKING NOW?

True. But you're less likely to buy the 1HP money maker when someone has a hitman in the shed. And more likely to hit the team with no items of their own with your own as there'll be no comeback etc.

Conclusion:

GNC have been fined 200k.

Having had time to think about it and discuss, I think that my conclusion is that people would have been quite right to have been pissed off had I allowed GNC to get away without being fined. Yes, it still feels very harsh for what was an obvious, innocent mistake, but I've had to punish for similar honest mistakes before and it would probably be pretty unfair to stop now.

If everybody had been happy to see them let off, I'd have been fine with that. But other players wouldn't be happy to see GNC get off with this, and I can understand where these people are coming from.

So yeah, it was a tough decision that I probably wasn't going to be happy to make one way or the other, but the conclusion is that GNC will indeed face the fine.
