Am I though? Where have I said it’s nothing? Can you quote that please? Looking forward to seeing that one.

If ours is violent conduct, then so is your players elbow into his chest.

Maybe if you could take off your yellow screened glasses we could have an interesting conversation, instead you’ve exaggerated and lied in two posts. As I said, get help.

From what i can see i can’t see how there would be any reason as to why mansfield’s was a red, i must admit i struggle to see the rationale for that, the red for rovers was daft but obvious, maybe they’ve all taken a leaf out of joeys book and just raise your hand as and when suits.

On a different note, how have the fans been with him being employed and then also after what he’s been accused of, what’s the general concensus?

I quoted it above. It's post #287 where you're describing it as the worst red card you've ever seen.

I genuinely can't believe that you think that isn't a red card. There's biased and then there's completely deluded.

Well that’s exactly the point, there’s no rationale. I’m using Stringys bizarre logic. I don’t actually think yours was a ref.

Most, including myself, want him suspended until the trial. Fans are generally 50/50 on him anyway, he’s really split the fan base. Unless we are minimum of play offs this season, he will not be a good thing for this club long term

Hmm, let’s look back shall we?

“Christ I’ve just seen the highlights, whilst I agree with it being a penalty, that is never a straight red card. That is one of the worst I’ve ever seen, seriously. And I’d genuinely question anyones mindset who believes that’s a straight red card and nothing for the Mansfield player.”

So not only did I not say “it’s nothing”, I also said it’s one of the worst I’ve seen, not “the worst you’ve ever seen”.

Based on your understanding of the English language and ability to read, it’s no wonder you think it’s a WWE move. Feel free to think it’s a red, but WWE?

You talk about biased, but your judgement possibly the worst I’ve seen. I have admitted it was a penalty and it’s a yellow card. Stringy over here thinks it’s a WWE move - so what can we expect next? 8 game ban for something like that?

You got that help yet?

As a neutral it was a deserved red card for throwing a punch and a yellow for being petulant. The Mansfield player didnt need to touch the Bristol Rovers player but the reaction was way out of order. If he had just pushed him away they would both have got yellows, or maybe even a lecture. Retaliation has always been a sending off.

Fair enough, as I had mentioned earlier in the thread without a Mansfield yellow its a joke of a decision, but someone did mention that the Mansfield player was also booked.

But what about that WWE move? How many games ban should he get? Stringy? Nothing else to say about lies either?

We'll leave it at that.

Yeah, that was my point.

which is why you commenting that you got 7,000 or whatever you got made you look daft.

Well spotted on paragraph three. However, you still said "that is never a straight red card". If you honestly believe that then there is something fundamentally wrong with what you are saying.

It would be ridiculous to suggest in any seriousness that it was a WWE move. I was just making the point that in football you're not allowed to assault an opponent. Thank goodness the neutrals weighed in.

P.s. if criticising anyone's understanding of English, perhaps first proofread your own posts so that there aren't any sloppy errors?

I think it needs to go back behind closed doors if we’re gonna have this carry on every weekend

It was a red because the silly twat raised his hands to a players face. He's been in the game long enough and knows the rules. Not saying Johnson is innocent but that's the game, they'll all do anything to get the edge over an opponent.

Overall I thought Rovers were poor on the day, Spectacular goal mind, but other than that I don't recall anything of note. Still early days for both clubs, I'd still say both will be top 7 at the end of season.

good attendance though!

think everyone was just bloody delighted to be back!
We certainly let the referee and linesman know we were back after the red card for Chris Merrie. Hope their ears are still ringing from the bollocking they got.
Was great to watch a game in the flesh, better being a supporter of real football than a viewer of televised football. Can lord it over the tellyclappers again.

Oh so now you’re claiming it was all a joke?

Goodness me what an embarrassing claw back that is. Funnily enough I generally don’t feel the need to proof read my own posts, but based on you making things up on the spot, I can see why it would be important to you. Still waiting for that quote.

Good night.

Danny Johnson is a wind up and a massive moaner, he knows exactly what he's doing. Was like it for us and when he was in the National League with Gateshead.

Johnson and Hawkins both scoring for Mansfield yesterday - Both could've been playing for ourselves, so I look forward to seeing how they fair for Mansfield.

Good night.

Why would me making things up on the spot make it important to me that you proofread your own posts? If anything I wouldn't want it to be noticed that I had made things up on the spot.

Have a sleep and let us know tomorrow how I was right, all the neutrals agree, it was in fact a red card all day long, and you making crazy accusations like I make things up on the spot is really just you deflecting that you don't know about red cards.

Thank you and I'll see you tomorrow

Right about what, the WWE comment? Where has anyone agreed with that?

Clearly this has been too much for you to understand, but I feel I’ve made it pretty clear I have an issue with your ridiculous WWE comment. If you’d read posts, you’d understand that.

I’ll have my sleep, but it won’t change the facts that you’re a liar and will make things up to suit your argument.

I think the crux of it is that Bristol Rovers fans simply can't handle losing to the likes of little old Mansfield.

Not only did Johnson put his elbow into Coutts chest, he then does the dying swan act when Coutts retaliates.
Mansfield players have been experts at the art of the dying Swan for the last few seasons, although if you think they are bad just wait until you play fucking Newport.

Not sure if that’s the case any more. Labadie is no longer there and he accounted for about 85% of their shithousery.

Re the red I’ll say the same for him as I am for Covolan and his red - don’t put yourself in a position of giving the ref a decision to make. Or at least if you do then don’t be surprised when he brandishes a red.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
That Nerdford game was boosted with 425 of our fans, Man Utd played Everton at 12.45 which messed them up I think.

The Atmosphere there has always been shit, always thought their fanbase was basicially part of the Man Utd spinoff groups there is around there with FCUM as well.

Although I know a few friends who watched both games, so no excuse really!

it’s very hard to impossible to tempt the Man Utd and city fans to watch a local side.

Curzon have been throwing out as many local deals over the last 4-5 seasons as they could playing at a higher level than they should, but still can only get 200 fans vs some decent ex league sides in an area of 250,000 people.

packing the pubs to watch Utd is still the big thing here.
