The joys of a wet day, which has seen Lancashire exit the RL Cup :(

Oh well, I guess we'll have to settle for just the 2 trophies...

I suspect we have a fraction of both your budgets and we have made 2 QFs without an overseas player.

OK. we are shite in the LVCC, but still.............

England under 19s captain Haseeb Hameed expected to make his Lancashire debut against Glamorgan today. He's meant to be one hell of a talent, so that's encouraging news.

However, Paul Horton has played his last game for Lancashire. Someone's going to get a pretty good batsman there.

We could end up playing four players under the age of 23 in this match too, two would be under 21 as well. Nice to see teams giving the youngsters game time right?

Not to mention the guy you've got playing for England under-19s, who probably would have played otherwise. Donald, is it?

Lancashire have got Kyle Jarvis, Ashwell Prince, Alviro Petersen and James Faulkner in the team today, but most of the team is home grown. I think some of the younger ones will continue to come through over the next few years.

Donald has been dropped for this match in favour of Lloyd I believe. Donald has a really bright future but they're picking and choosing his games at the moment. Salter and Bull are both young lads too, Salter is slightly more experienced but still pretty young.

Hales putting together one of the best CC knocks you'll see currently. 173 off 184 balls, 27 fours and 2 sixes.

If only the bloke could be remotely consistent

Hales 50 not out from 46 at home to Durham in the RL cup currently. Absoluetely creamed it at times. Looks so powerful even when he defends the ball. HAS to be involved with the England setup in all formats sooner or later. Even if it's based on potential only in the test arena. Far worse players have had a proper go.

Trying to get a few mates together for it - not been successful as yet, but I am planning on going! Should be a cracking day.

I had to miss finals day to attend a friends birthday.

A Lancashire win would be a more than satisfactory consolation and also an excellent excuse to have a few extra drinks later.

Come on boys!!!

On the one hand we lost to the winners, but on the other, I really wish Northants had won (always support the underdog)
