I can understand that. Curzon aside though we have really tightened up recently. I think if you score early on though you could over run us easilly.

We scored 3 early against Curzon then nearly bottled it like you bottled it against us ;). So I wouldn't rule yourselves out, I'm expecting goals as our games always produce them.

Interesting starting eleven for us. No recognised striker in the team and no Arthur Gnahoua in the squad at all. :conf:

Ouch. I had him on the predictions! We look very threadbare. Too youth players on our bench who are yet to make a senior appearance.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
we are 2-0 down so going to be a tall ask.

we gave a debut to a 17 year old centre back last week (not sure if due to injuries or being safe) and looks like he's had a tough time today. Not complaining at youth given some good lessons when pretty safe

:hb::hb: No words needed about our defending. This could be any number.

The penalty was poor from yourselves. Adam Smith runs into his own area from a corner our CB Tunnicliffe follows him, Smith tries to twist and turn in the area Tunnicliffe tackles him then goes down.

Honestly it should be 3-1 you missed a free header at the back post.

We need to stay awake now 3-0 up to 3-3 has already happened in this fixture.

Sorry everyone, but if we can play so shit and win 3-1, nothing can stop us going up this year. Seeing 800/900 Shaymen today, having to pretend to believe in this shower is breaking my heart. We deserve better than this.:bdick:

A crucial win for us after a bout of very low confidence, but most importantly going to both Alfresco and Bankrupt Park Avenue has boosted my badge count by ten. Great club shops.

I heard.

Adam Smith needs to be the next through the exit door. Diastrous signing. Both on and off the field.

Apparently the first half was the "worst 45 minutes of the season". Christ it must have been bad then. As I thought it would be tough to find a new low after Curzon.

Improved after the break but the damage was already done.
Our results went out way fortunately. 10 games to go. Its gonna be tight but we have some favourable fixtures and will pick enough points up at home.

Thats 51 conceded in 17 away games now. Fifty one. Worst in the whole National League. 10 more than Margate or Gosport.

He really seems to believe that he's something really special doesn't he. Never showed any consistancy with us and didn't put in the required work rate.
Big time Charlie attitude.

Really is disastrous the way his career has declined. Very inconsistent for us (normally a one half player) but when he turned it on he was unplayable. He got a big move to Wrexham which he deserved and ever since he's been getting himself into trouble off the field which has surely effected his performances on the field. Class on his day, looks like he doesn't have his day often anymore.

Very much a 'job done' performance for County today v Curzon. Played well, but we were allowed to, since the visitors were largely woeful. Could've had more but we took our foot off the pedal towards the end after bringing Gonzalez off and playing without a proper striker, as well as Lloyd who had his best game in quite a while. Stupid foul by Hampson gave them a penalty right at the end too. The new lad Wynter fitted in well, put in a brilliant pass in the build up to our third. Minihan and Montrose were a class above, as usual.

Away win for us before a massive 2 home games and Danny Rowe hit his 40th league goal of the season. Staggering

Fairly comfortable 2-1 win at home to Telford, keeps us on track, the next two weeks should clarify things a bit in the play off push with important games coming up for some of the clubs involved.

Gonna be at least 47 weeks since a Saturday home win.
Alty had the semblance of a plan, lads who put a shift in and were first to the breaks. We were OK early on again but as soon as alty scored we looked clueless, lathargic and half added. Hoofing it up all game, it really was desperate stuff. How a thousand people chose to watch that baffled me. Sleepwalking into trouble. We're basically relying on Gainsborough and Worcester being shit.

Yep. Very poor attitude. Seems half arsed and has never put a 90 minute performance. Wouldnt mind if he left but unfortunately not sure if we have the will to replace him. Although he would release some money in the budget you would think....

Alferton were awful in the first half but in the second half changed to a 352 and managed to stop us attacking but not really creating much themselves.

First goal as I said earlier was awful from Adam Smith, messing about in your own area always leads to a mistake. McQuilkin then powered the penalty home, was nice to see one of our players putting some power in a pen, normally they end up trying to place it and the keeper has an easy save. Second goal was a corner tactic the Alferton weren't ready for, low and driven across the box and Truslove finished it. 3rd goal was a brilliant piece of play, Keith Lowe picks the ball up plays a brilliant throughball to Josh Ezewele who cross it in for Waite to finish. First half we could have been about 8-0 up though had it not been for Spiess.

Second half we seemed to settle didn't take any risks when going forward to make sure we didn't do what we did against Curzon and nearly bottle it. But Alferton didn't pose much of a threat their only shots really coming from Westcarr but they were straight at Hornby.

12 wins at home in a row now just wish we could do something away.

Odd how one lucky moment can make you forget 80 minutes of shite:

Er, why are their Halifax fans celebrating a goal against a pub team on the pitch? Incredibly embarrassing even for supporters that let their tinpot club die.

I guess we just have more respect for Bradford Park Avenue's name than we'll ever have for Woking. The Avenue Will Never Die. Sorry, but you did ask.:bdick:

Unpopular take, but I enjoy us trips to Park Ave. While it's no local derby in the classic sense, I like good chips, real ale, hooped shirts and a steep terrace. The fans are friendly, it's nice to see several hundred Shaymen away from home and the best part is we usually win.

Binpot not tinpot please Sparrow. They are a football league club so can take liberties.
