Unpopular take, but I enjoy us trips to Park Ave. While it's no local derby in the classic sense, I like good chips, real ale, hooped shirts and a steep terrace. The fans are friendly, it's nice to see several hundred Shaymen away from home and the best part is we usually win.

Grim pitch and one and only stand apart, with great old style terrace, Grim ground but spot on. Club house with the old avenue ground model is great. Too much of a miss for any local teams to see them go down. Their small numbers in the face of all things City and Leeds is of much praise.

Remember the 2013/2014 season in the conference 2 teams avoided relegation due to Salisbury and Hereford going bust. Dartford went down season after and. Chester are still in league. Gateshead would have been saved due to Salisbury as well in 2010 but stayed up on the field anyway. Someone on this thread seems to think clubs with the most fans have some right to be flying high by default. Load of crap. If that was the case newcastle would be in the champions league

Suspect it's all going to be a bit naff. Even saw one bloke on the forum say he was going to join the walk out, but would then turn back round and take his place on the terrace to watch the game!

Can't make my mind up about Rowley. I think he's a decent bloke who wants the best for the club. A lot of the frustration seems to be about the club's failure to secure external investment, but then I'm not sure whether that's a sensible way to run a club anyway. Ultimately it need to be self-sustaining.

That said, the managerial appointments since Sinnott left have been awful. It's not unreasonable to suggest that they are the reasons we're going to find ourselves two leagues below where we should be.

probably the smartest approach for them really so maybe Burr could be the right type of manager for their current position............what have they now to gain from trying for draws or just 'narrowly' losing.

Yep. Some huge games tomorrow at both ends of the table with many of the relegation and play off rivals playing each other. Weirdly FCUM visited the Impact on the exact same weekend last season and won 1-0. Expecting another tight affair this time but hopefully we can prevail.

Despite our troubles its hard to believe we are unbeaten in 8 home games and have not tasted home defeat since the 8th of November (0-2 v Gloucester)

4 of our next 5 are at home and really we need at least 8/9 points from them (FCUM,Boston,BPA,Stalybridge)

They grabbed lead in second min through with a nice finish, bad goalkeeping or lucky finish through weather.....unsure which.

Had lots of possession, done nothing with it. We've played into crap winds and seem too hesitant to try things due to it so never really do much about the box.

They could have had a second early on, but after 20 mins seem happy to defend....hoping with weather behind us second half we have a better chance

That last ten minutes was horrific to listen to. General consensus from Harriers is that the first red we got was very harsh and no different to various other tackles that were made throughout the match and then it seems that the referee Steven Copeland lost the plot after that.

I don't know, it was hard to tell whether if it was a red or not. There were bits of hand bags all over the pitch. First half we were completely dominated. Kiddy looked excellent, pace all over, your number 11 looked a quality player and for some strange reason our manager clearly decided to play for a point (which we are not good enough at defending to do) as our wingers were dropped right in to make a back 6. Couldn't believed what i was seeing but after a bit of abuse and a 2 goal deficit to make up he changed it second half. We pushed on then and started to dominate, the introduction of matty hughes at the break and then james hardy improved us massively. Kiddy were now on the back foot and dropping deeper which led to our goals. 3 red cards and a last minute equaliser. Great day all round

absolutely battered them second half, although could have been a different story had they scored an early one on one in second half through one of the worst non-offside decisions i have seen.....their forward was that far ahead of our defenders he pretty much walked through on goal then didn't know what to do.

we equalized through a good header from a corner then had chance after chance after chance until taking the lead, whole half pretty much played in the nuneaton half, unsure if that was us dominating, them deciding to sit completely back and do nothing or the weather.....regardless we dominated, played well and won comfortably.

Now onto our huge biggest home game of season Monday vs FCUM.

Apologies to any Glarster City fans who experienced that "afters" at full-time. I saw it all unfold, a pavement lined up by local schoolchildren goading and abusing, waiting for the slightest rise and using that as an excuse to (attempt to) attack. As much as it hurts to see a few dozen fans go nuts as your team flounders, it's an even sorrier sight that some of the hardiest fans amongst us have numpties trying to drive them away from the game.

Hoping now for a few seamless victories and to thrive under pressure like all other well-backed sides seem to do. This is goddam painful at times.

GET IN THERE! 7 points clear of the drop zone now. Despite our awful away form thats 2 wins on the bounce and 9 unbeaten at home. Our home form will keep us up.

One of those games where not much happened accept for the goals. FC didnt turn up first half and were pretty underwhelming. Sam Smith puts us ahead early on with our first attack of the game finishing at the second attempt after a good save from Carnell.

We continued to dominate to the half without really creating any chances. Second half it was clear FCUM had recieved a bollocking and came out and were all over us for the first 20 minutes of the second half. Thomson grabbing the equaliser on 49. We look to respond but Tom Allan was denied as his bullet header crashed against the bar. We grew in to the game and after yet another excellent run and cross from Westcarr Atkinson was there on the edge of the area to sweetly fire home the winner and his first goal for the club.

We saw the game out well and deserved the win. Other results went our way again and Tuesday against Boston represents another good opportunity to move further clear of the bottom three and finally end our awful run of results v Boston. Win on Tuesday and thats us 100% safe IMO.

No doubt the sort of performances we've seen this season were a treat for Ferriby audiences in the past few years. Nowhere near acceptable at a REAL football club, though. Oh for the relentless forward momentum of the Aspin era, when the attacks rolled in like a blue tidal wave right up the 90th minute and beyond. How did we come to this? The answer is obvious to all but the idiots among us who claimed Aspin had reached his level in this division and gave similar short shrift to a former manager who is now leading a team that is 9 points clear at the top of League 1. We did this to ourselves.

What are your thoughts on the future? Can't say I'm all that inspired by the prospect of Doughty/Lawton. Unpopular as it may be, I actually think that Heathcote would be a better option if he wants it. I assume he's properly recharged his batteries having been away for a few years. And considering the level we'll be playing at, he's probably as well placed as anyone to inspire a promotion push with very limited finances.

Never expected a win yesterday, great result on the road. Probably too much to do to make the play offs still but usual thing applies, what could we be achieving if we actually played in our own City.

Had too much on so didn't go yesterday but have seen the few videos doing the rounds of the Halifax **** squad. Some 14 year old kiddy in a Burberry cap bouncing about with his mates and some retard punching the supporters coach. Special.
