Tbf Wembley is quite overrated. Shit pubs and food in the area, horrific pricing on Wembley way and generally bad acoustics in a place that should have a great atmosphere. Middle tier has comfy seats though.

I wished they picked events like this depending on who get to the final, same with the play-offs.

I would rather it be at Old Trafford.

Time for a petition to get this final moved to a more suitable location for this season?

I'm sure Lincoln fans would be just as happy going to Old Trafford or somewhere.

Imagine winning a tournament that no-one wanted to win?.

That's a bad deal. And a shocker in the history of the club that won it.

Imagine repeating yourself over and over again and not realising how boring and bitter you sound.

Imagine winning the tournament in 1987 when it meant something (like going to Wembley already).

How's your Wembley trips been to date? Had fun? How's your top 3 push going? Having fun?

As much as I admire a club similar in size to us coming back from non league also rans to what they’re doing now, I am insanely jealous, but am I also allowed to be upset that other clubs like Lincoln enjoy success and grow whilst we are non league and going bust, and even if we don’t, we’ll go down again.

We’ve also never played at Wembley but would’ve in the L1 play off final if it wasn’t being redeveloped at the time. Instead we got Cardiff.

Yeah the Checkatrade is shite we know that but playing at Wembley is something special so I don’t begrudge them attending it. At the end of the day a club’s history, supporterdom and identity is stronger than competing in a competition primed for the big boys so enjoy your day out but massively envious of it all.

I don’t see it as the same competition anymore.

Anyway we had to get past the likes of Middlesbrough and Bristol City in the final to win it.

Wembley is massively underwhelming too. The new one that is.

You’re 4 points ahead of us hardly anything to get high and mighty about it all.

It seems for some people boycotting the Checkatrade has given then some sort of complex where they act holier than thou. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again for some I think boycotting it was more about becoming a mob against the ills of modern football than actually believing in what they are saying

I'm fine mate. Life is good as a Lincoln City fan right now, not sure if you've noticed?

I’m rather content too. Make the most of it, I am certainly going to.

Life is good as a Lincoln fan right now. Nearly as good as it is to be a Mansfield fan

You're a bitter man Adam. Was it you who predicted we'd 'do a Cheltenham' this season with our team of Mansfield rejects? If so, are you going to admit you were wrong?

I don't know, getting to the final of the Checkafraud must be hanging over the city like a dark cloud of shame. Poor bastards, I wouldn't wish playing in that match on my worst enemy.

You'll have to remind me, I don't recall saying that at all, I also vividly remember welcoming you back to the football league fold.

I can't be bitter about Lincoln, you don't possess anything for a Mansfield fan to be jealous of?

Fans?

In all seriousness, if you're not bitter why are you so obsessed with us? It's all you ever post about.

Even more than half of those are fake. Unless they were all dressed as plastic seats back in the conference.

It's also in the incorrect context, even if another fan were to be "obsessed" that doesn't make them bitter

What exactly is a 'fake' fan?

Ones that attend checkatrade games would be a good place to look.

It appears you've already sold your souls to the footballing devil, and at least half of your regulars wouldn't be well informed enough to know better. I hope that you enjoy your day out.

Won't be attending any - home games aren't easy in midweek with me being in Manchester as it is.

However, I wouldn't watch this if it were taking place in my own front lawn. I'm not doing down the route of lambasting folk for going - I don't agree but everyone's entitled to their opinion and what they do with their time.

That's pure comedy gold from the man who has spent the last 10 pages lambasting Lincoln fans for attending.
