Some sympathy does need to be shown towards Barrow. How were they ever expected to live up to their famous FA Cup win over Tranmere?

A short trip to Ossett on Tuesday for me then. See what Solihull have to offer before our league fixture on Saturday. If Ossett play anything like their joint manager Mick Norbury used to for us it'll be muck and bullets. He took no prisoners.

Fear not Barrow. We lost to something called 'Stamford' last season and I'm pretty sure they are only a level or 2 up from village teams who play on council pitches dodging dog turds and broken bottles. They make this Shaw Lane nonsense club look the size of Real Madrid in comparison.

If this was a one-off, I'd be content to write it off as a blip - however, we lose to a pub side most seasons! Runcorn Town (I think they were called) were probably the smallest club we've ever played and lost 1-0 at home to them...

Some people calling for the new manager's head - no surprise, considering he's only won once in 11 games.

It's frustrating, because we have the makings of a good side, have been playing nice football, and been unlucky not to win on a number of those occasions. Injuries have hit us hard, plus a lack of confidence in front of goal - those two things combined = crisis, unfortunately.

I feel sorry for any Conference side if they draw Forest Green tomorrow!
I feel more sorry for the fans of anyone who draws us and ends up with neck ache after sitting through 90 mins of hoof ball shite.

Cheltenham away. I don’t particularly care about winning the replay with Enfield now.

Accrington Stanley. It's not so long ago it was a regular league fixture.
That'll do, nice easy trip if we need a replay too :D

Great draw for Shaw Lane. Home to Mansfield. Really hope that televised. One things for sure Paul Clayton wont need any help getting up for that one!

Unfortunately Boring Wood got a decent draw v Blackpool. Thats a shame.

Our draws over the last five seasons.

17/18 - Dagenham (A), Gillingham (A)
16/17 - Sheffield United (A)
15/16 - Staines (H), Scunthorpe (H - Before inevitably drawing and then not showing up in a replay that would have given us Chelsea away)
14/15 - Oldham (A)
13/14 - Southport (H), Walsall (H), Yeovil (A)

Dreadful.
And with that draw, Orient winning tomorrow night is a certainty.

It's not funny anymore.

Dale is a great little trip. Good ale, nice ground you can make a racket in with small numbers and some of the friendliest locals around.

Fucking lol for Orient’s draw, as per usual.

Wonder if they will let us all get down there and then postbone the game like they did last time we played them in the cup.
The fifth time we have drawn them in the Cup in the last twelve years. We have lost every previous tie !
