420 tickets gone in the first 2 hours, so unless you are a doley you needed to take a day off work and start to queue at 6am for tickets that weren't getting sold until 9:30am.

I'll listen on the radio [emoji38]
I just hope hartlepool win. Im sick of hesring about south shields. And if they beat hartlepool the media will make a meal of them. Could see them on bbc 'the little minmows from south tyneside' which is a lie

fa have called for a thursday pitch inspection, according to a eastleigh statement today, although they seem confident all repairs will be done and satisfactory it does'nt exactly exude confidence, also saying contingency plans have been made without saying what these may be..what could possibly go wrong.

I guess that's one way to avoid messing away supporters around - pick a game where there aren't any!!

That exactly what the St Albans fans were saying - one of the worse draws to get (this was before they knew the BBC would stream it) - decent Conference team but with no fans but a bit of a reputation so the police costs will be greater than usual.

The early kick-off time might put people off now too..and the fact a lot of the local league teams are at home.

Still, a great opportunity for more people to see the wonder that is Clarence Park. Pity that the tree behind the goal is long gone. I'm hoping that Haringey Borough get through and we get drawn against them away. Not only would it be the closest possible tie to where I live, but I can then also claim that I've seen Barnet play at White Hart Lane!

Also, the Haringey Borough vs Heybridge Swifts tie means that at least Step 4 club will be in the First Round draw.

Not up to speed about this club's meteoric rise. Aren't they a small club from South Tyneside?

They were 3 years ago :£:£:£
Playing to less than 100 fans 20 mile down the road in peterlee. Yet the 100s of sudden lifelong fans claim to have attended matches there and also at there previous stint at filtrona park as it was then. Then Jeff Thompson who looks like Michael Douglas rolls in and suddenly he has this Midas touch. Even signs a ex premier league player for nowt.

Can we just concede the game to the Daggers now rather than be forced to sit through another turgid, uninspiring 90 minutes of kak?

You guys up for another merger soon? You took Leytonstone, I think we're about ready to join the party.

We should really get through tomorrow, it's taken a team in a higher division to knock us out since Bognor Regis did from the same level (think it was 11/12 but might have been 10/11) and even looking all the way back to our last season in the county leagues there's no occasion somebody lower in the pyramid has scalped us. Anything can happen in the cup though, that's the magic of it, and we'll need to be at our best to progress.

You sure would be. More of a giant killing than st albans beating boreham wood
As a strange quirk of fate our accadamy team was drawn away against Shildon u18's in the FA Youth Cup. I went up to support the lads who eventually came out 1-3 winners. Cracking food and very reasonable too!

Why are they showing St. Albans vs. Boreham Wood? Who gives a fuck about that? How's that game of any interest at all?

Typical BBC southern home counties bias. So many more interesting ties out there than that one.

Is he bank-rolling them or is he a tactical maestro?
The North East non league scene is a bit of a mystery to me,

We're poor at the moment so you're playing us at a good time. But I'm sure you'd say the same to us.

I think it'll be a scrappy 1-0 to someone.

After the loss to Merstham at this stage last season, I'm taking nothing for granted. ETU could trouble us.

We're gonna have a centre half pairing of Danny Happe who has just turned 19 and Jamie Sendles-White who has been crap for us all season.

We are so bad at the back, your front three should run rings round us  Steve Davis has no idea how to set a team up, he's an awful coach.

You'll hammer us 3 or 4 nil. You can laugh at Joe Widdowson again as well and his awful awareness and positioning.

He runs a succesful business (utility wise) as a so called football man he never even knew they played out of town until a comittee man approached him for sponsorship. Hes going to build them a 10,000 capacity stadium apparantly

Heard that. The food is now ran by wn outside caterer. Club house always served a good pint but sadly on the small side
