As far as a day out on the ale is concerned, it doesn't get much better than Halifax.Looking forwards to visiting the Three Pidgeons, Shear's inn, and the Big Six again. Football wise i would of prefered someone like Buxton or Scarboro. Tough draw for both Halifax and Tranmere, hope its not televised at silly o'clock.

We're almost certainly gonna lose against that Shaw Lane Aquapolice thing.

Oh just f*** off. Literally the worst draw we could have got outside of the plastic triumvirate. Still, at least I'll be able to watch us lose on t'internet, as there's virtually zero chance the Beeb won't pick it.
In that draw there's plenty more than just three teams on 3G ;)

Horrible feeling Orient will do us. But still, at least it's a tie that should raise a bit of interest.

Shilden at home, last time we played a northern league side in the cup we lost. Not expecting anything different this time around!

Must say I'm a tad disappointed that one the southern national league teams weren't drawn away at Billericay!!!

Shame one of us has to go out at such an early stage but you'll get over it. :woot::ds:

South Shields have already been selected in a previous round so it wont be them.
Thank God for that. I reckon shildon v guiesleys a good news for TV. Surely shildon must be one of lowest ranked sides left in

Where I was born I'm sure they will bring a few down. Which northern league side beat you?

We've got a decent record at the Shay, don't bank on it!
Everyone has a decent record at The Shay but us, that's one reason why everyone loves coming here. There will be goals, that's for sure, 4-3 occurs surprisingly common between us, as does 3-2.

Torquay at home could be a banana skin, I know they haven't won in the league but cup games give players a bit of relief and they will come to the Rec with no pressure. When we were flying at the start of the season we only won 3-2 so it won't be an easy game. Just hope we do enough to scrape through (without needing a replay).

If you do beat us, do us all a favour and stop gloating a bit earlier than Barrow did please? March 17th 2021 will probably do it. Cheers.

Tranmere fans seem to mention that result about 100x more than Barrow fans do.

But it DEFINITELY didn't matter to them.

When has any Tranmere fan ever said that going out of the FA Cup didn't matter? Of course it does.

To be fair there are about 100x more Tranmere fans than Barrow fans, so it's probably about even.

This man knows.

Not one of the best draws, but one of the better draws. Likewise with Tranmere away, though admittedly the two times I've been it's involved drinking in the 'Pool first.

Still excited to be one win away from drawing Bratfud City cos we're all sad little men over here. Not sure if there's any particular allure for yous in the 1st Round... Blackburn Rovers maybe?

We are fucking shit mate, you will easily dispose of us

The general feeling from everyone is that we've lost this tie before the ball has been kicked, we've been awful for a month - If you watch the game on BT Sport on Wednesday you'll see why!

Your front three will tear us a new one!

Keep an eye out for Buxton's striker Liam Hardy when you play them, he use to play for us he's a decent forward on his day.

Other than the very good beer tent in the fan zone at Prenton park, there's only really Gallagher's pub in Birkenhead thats worth a visit.

If we got to round 1 i'd like Wigan or Oldham. Knowing our luck we'd get somewhere really crap and dull like Scunthorpe.

I honestly think it's the tie of the round, and a good bet for the TV game if there is one at this stage? One thing in our favour is we've always got through our first FA Cup round since we reformed in 2008. Prior to that we, we rarely made it through, only to lose to Burton bloody Albion again in the next round. :bdick:

You don't pay much attention do you- I only gloat before the game.
When you've beaten both City & United, everyone else is small fry. :ds:
