It's an odd one. And it must be said he was a clear second favourite to Alun Armstrong who we went after first. If I'm honest neither in my opinion are what we need right now.
The club needs a steady hand at the helm someone who can do things to budget and thus maybe has good connections to clubs across the country where we can get loan signings on the cheap. And offer players dropping out of those academies a shop window to get back into the full time game.
Most of all though if we don't have the money to go out and buy the best the league has to offer we have to be tough to beat. Solid when out of possession. This is something we haven't had under Gray for the last season and a half. If you're not conceding then all you need to do is score one to win.
I don't know who is left on the list of those that applied or expressed an interest. But I'd certainly like to see someone like Ronnie Moore in charge. Oooo well the search continues and we'll see who we get.
