So Concord are refusing to travel to Truro due to the upcoming snowmageddon. Meanwhile Truro & the National League are saying the game will be going a head.

Surely this must mean Concord forfeit the game

The game has rightly been postponed, not feesable at all for Concord to travel today. Replayed at a later date. Seen some Truro fans throwing their toys out of the pram claiming it is ridiculous and they should travel. The Canvey area has been hit possibly the hardest and there's not enough grit. Couple in the distance and the fact that there's been a number of crashes on A roads nearby, it makes sense not to travel.

Wealdstone 1-0 Welling United (Att: 783)

Third league double of the season completed last night. Scrappy game but quite entertaining where we had more of the first half and Welling had more of the second. Ricky Wellard scored the winning goal heading in from a corner in the 92nd minute.

Welling's time wasting antics were quite spectacular considering it started from minute one through until minute 92.

Braintree Town 2-2 Wealdstone (Att: 510)

Decent enough game that saw the Stones come from 2-0 down at HT to grab a share of the spoils. Braintree will feel hard done by having forced Jonathan North into two or three outstanding saves, however having levelled the proceedings we had two guilt-edged chances to win it (Dave Pratt's near the death was one of those how did he me miss chances).

Less than 400 home fans there yesterday and with it costing £33 for two adults and an under-18 yesterday, it's not hard to see why.

Another good win for us on Saturday down in Eastbourne. Massive renaissance under Marc Richards, fair play to the guy did not think it was a particularly enthralling appointment but he has turned the season around completely. We have Hungerford this Saturday and given their current problems that could be another 3 points in the bag. Honestly believe we could even sneak into the top ten by the end of the season (but not the play offs, I don't even think we could take part with Evesham's "stadium")

What a win for Poole at Dartford too! Suspect it's the end of the road for Whitehawk and probably Bognor given their awful form. Last spot between Poole, Hungerford, Concord and Chippenham. At present I'd say Hungerford after Matty Williams came back to us and Luke Hopper signed for Salisbury.

If our two games against Havant are anything to go by, they are going to shithouse their way to the title. Should have won both games and yet they've scraped 1-0 wins in both. It's a cliche but that's a sign of a champion.

Tuesday was my first visit to Havant, really good setup down there. Wouldn't look out of place with some of the grounds in the National.

Havant & Waterlooville have announced the signing of goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski from Lowestoft Town.

The 6"3 - 22-year-old shot-stopper comes to the club with plenty of pedigree, having previously played for Hartlepool United and Darlington.

I remember when we signed this young lad on a month's loan, to replace Pete Jameson when he stupidly got a 3 match ban for getting red-carded down at AFC Telford.

Jeez looking at that list I am so glad we didn't come down. Not meaning to come across as disrespectful but it would have been awful. Chances are we'll probably be here in 12 months anyway.

Makes a lot of sense that Gloucester are in this league too - found it strange that they were classed as North!

Called it.

You're going to love it down here, especially some of the grounds and single digit away followings (although every club will take a few more to Plainmoor). The only glimmer of hope I can offer is that Dulwich, Billericay and Hereford may come up. The latter especially would bring a few hundred.

At this rate Billericay won’t be coming up and I hardly think that if they did they would bring many to Plainmoor.

What's happened to Chelmsford this season? Didn't they lose in the PO's last season?

And Braintree, I thought they were right up there for the first half of the season. That seems some drop off in form.

Chelmsford are right in the playoff hunt. They always find a way to f*** it up, though.

Can’t believe that you don’t know what’s going on at Ricay.

Ricay?

Seem to recall Chelmsford being neck and neck for the title last season with Ebbsfleet, or have I made that up?

Think that was between Maidenhead and Ebbsfleet. Maidenhead won the league and Ebbsfleet went up via the play offs anyway.

I read the wrong tinpot Essex no-marks beginning with ‘B’.

Chelmsford were nowhere near the title. Two-horse race between Maidenhead and Ebbsfleet.

Wealdstone 2-3 Eastbourne Borough (Att: 751)

Our truly awful record against Eastbourne continued last night as the visitors ran out 3-2 winners. One of those games where we didn't play too badly but a couple of shocking defensive lapses so shortly after the team whimpered out of the Trophy manifested into a lot of frustration last night.

The season is over, we'll just play out to a mid table finish now. I'm not on Bobby Wilkinson's case as I always said that he needs a summer and pre-season to set his stall out but he's got to get it all right. I'm sure he knows that too and probably welcomes the pressure.

Wealdstone 2-1 Bath City (Att: 808)

Undeserved but 3 points is all that matters. Jake Sheppard and Taofiq Olomowewe with the goals in the second half saw the Stones turn it around.

That's the start of a mad run in, 9 games in 22 days. Hungerford away tomorrow night and then Oxford City at home on Wednesday.

Who has pressed the self destruct button at St Albans? Lost 3-0 at Whitehawk on Saturday and now defeat 2-1 at Bognor tonight?!

Never thought I'd say this but I hope Truro are down here next year.

If we're doing well I'd expect some large followings to some places (Truro/Bath/Weston Super Mare/Chippenham being the best bets) and home games to be upwards of 1500 (pushing 2000 if we're doing very well). Been starved of a winning team for so long that I think fans will return, even at this level.

On the flip side, continue to slide and we'll crash and burn as we could potentially be so unprepared for what is in front of us.

Decent game at Hungerford on Monday night which saw us 3-1 victors. Given the conditions there was plenty of slick, passing football being played from both sides and I have to say that it's the most entertaining Stones game I've seen this season.

We'll still be here next season but it will start to feel a bit more 'pwopa' if both Torquay and Woking were to drop down and Hereford come up, just don't give us the former on a Tuesday night as that's got a weekender all over it. We're even charging everyone £15 on the day next season as privilege, to say that has pissed me off would be an understatement! Unbelievably shortsighted from the board and the increase in matchday admission needs to be reversed.

Yellow.... not sure what you know about NLS, but some of the grounds we are going to be visiting next season will be an eye-opener for many Gulls. I've been to the majority of them and all I can say is thank f**k Whitehawk aren't going to be around.

Most teams next season will be 'up for it' when they play us.... ex-League team and all that. The last thing we need to do is go into games with the BillyBigBollox attitude that we have the right to win every game because 'we used to be quite good'... the majority of the fans in NLS follow their club because it's THEIR club and are very knowledgeable about the whole non-league scene. We, on the other hand, have go to get used to being a 'big fish' in a small pond.... but as the season pans out and we're stuck in mid-table we'll soon realise that we're at this level for a reason.

On a selfish point, it does mean a lot more away games for me next season and, the best bit, we don't have to travel up to the Grim North. Every cloud and all that.

Two somewhat fortunate wins in a row puts us back in play off contention with 3 home games v Whitehawk, Oxford City and Gloucester and an away trip to Truro. Win any 3 of those and that should be enough for us to finish 6th or 7th.
