Not sure if Kiddy are the best team seen in league or York the worst.
Got to admire the football they play,a joy to watch the total opposite of Alfreton.
Seen Chorley and kiddy and only one winner for me.

To be honest it helped your manager wrote our team talk. We just went out to prove him wrong and we did it emphatically.

I was hesitant when we hired McFarlane but he's won around the supporters. He stuck with his 352 philosophy and it's worked. After a slow start with 3 draws we're really flying atm.

Still unbeaten along with Chorley with goals coming from all our forward players so far, Williams 5, Ironside and Chambers 4 and Richards who's yet to make a start on 3. And on Ed Williams what a player, think we'll struggle to keep him past January reminds me of Joe Lolley when he was here just picks up up the ball and runs.

Interesting how well the promoted sides have stated in Conf National too - maybe not much of a gap between the divisions?.

It’$ a r£al myst€r¥....

The sides who came up from the Sarf aren’t bankrolled, if that helps with your investigation.

Mmmm, you could be right after reading your match reports the following day?

I never went to either - was on holiday for both.

What is your point though? That you have to go to every match to have an opinion as our season as a whole?

And it wasn't me that said we matched the likes of Brackley and were poor at Kidderminster anyway - I was just answering because the guy who said it has disappeared.

Is he wrong then? Were we not poor at Kiddy? Did we not match Brackley?

As already posted - the scorelines give me a clue...

Today was the most clueless performance I have seen from us since we reformed as a club. Absolute garbage. Zero quality on the ball, combined with zero effort.
If you have gambling intentions, put a few on us getting relegated. Never thought I would have said this at the start of the season; We are in deep shit.

The Kim-like dictatorship running the club are out of their depth. Whatever seemed like a fan ownership model has been replaced by a bunch of bullying, self-important, clueless dinosaurs.

How is Harry White doing for you?

He always tried his hardest for us, but was one of the most limited players I've ever seen for us.

We were brilliant yesterday. Best away performance of our Conference North era for me.

McFarlane as mentioned above, seems to be doing everything right at the minute. His post-match comments about the York jibes before the match were superb. You can tell he demands respect from his players, a real unity among the squad at the minute.

York couldn't match our energy, movement (even from our centre-halves!) and footballing ability yesterday, it was a complete demolition.
Ed Williams is a much better replacement for Elton, who I feared we might miss most due to his unpredictability - but this guy has the end product.
Digie was outstanding too, he looks alot more confident with the ball at his feet - the freedom NM allows his players is so pleasing on the eye, last year, Eustace would have played a rigid, slow and quite boring style which seemed to trap certain players from expressing themselves.

Back to back wins both with clean sheets and steady improvement with each game. The only downside is the ever increasing injury list, three forwards, four wingers and two defenders now missing. Thankfully we have a very strong academy and these lads are being given game time in the first team.

The club has come out asking for applications for a "Head Coach" rather than a manager, which I think may have been why Beadle was sacked. Wanting to go in a different direction which Beadle would have not been a fan of.

Alfreton have extended the loan of Josh Gowling from Torquay until the end of the season. Delighted with that. Josh has been outstanding

Blyth seems a while ago now.

Great win for us tonight, solid and organised throughout and went forward with purpose. Kiddy may have passed the ball around quite well but didn’t really create many meaningful chances.

Just a bit concerned with these injuries stacking up, lost Dudley and Mooney tonight as well. Good news is that teenager Iwan Murray looked the part, only about 4ft tall but has plenty of ability.

That 8-1 is well and truly buried now as we fairly comfortably beat one of the last remaining unbeaten teams. The third goal by Matty Hughes in which he chased a long punt down, beat his marker and finished from an impossibly acute angle with some style was class. Young youth team graduate Iwan Hughes, who is now nearly 5' 1" had a great debut (due to yet another injury in the warm up) was rightly awarded the man-of-the- match. Chorley be afraid.

I think I'd be inclined in adding Chester as a team to keep a close eye on after beating Kiddy tonight, especially with their game in hand against out of form Hereford.

Beginning to settle and find your feet in this league after a shaky start, must be absolutely chuffed to bits with an eight-match unbeaten run.

Yes, slowly but steadily improving. The main difference to last years team is a strong mentality this season and more experience in defence.
We really should have had a minimum of a draw in our first game away to Boston, Chorley at home they shaded, fair enough.
Failure to take chances was holding us back but that is now turning around. More to come I'm sure.
In preseason I said I'd be happy with a comfortable mid table finish but right now I think we should do better than that. Happy days!

I think you got your answer sucker, ha ha!
Wasn't at the game as I'm on holiday. Literally the only Tuesday I couldn't go to.

From reports sounds like we didn't turn up so fair play to you guys. You managed to stop all our threats. Hoping for a big response on Saturday.

Look forward to the game at yours ~~~ always do. I always try and visit friends in Bridgnorth after match. We've got Chorley next after a potential banana skin in FA Cup.

19th out of 22. does not make for good reading. Our chairman has upset one to many and has too many enemies unfortunately.

Support continues to go in one direction and seep away for us. Sad to see the days of a strong base of 600 are in the past unfortunately. I fear only one thing will solve it and that would have a massive lasting effect on the club.

I think we'll be up for it, but Chorley have made it all ticket, so that'll reduce the travelling supporters. I wasn't going to go because Chorley's mad element are really mad and the Lancashire Constabulary are a pretty dim bunch. I will go but be careful where I park my car.

We've signed Elliot Osbourne on loan from Southport. Had a very successful loan spell with us a couple of years back before getting recalled by Fleetwood. Most wanted him back before he signed for Southport.

Seems he's not enjoying playing for Southport under Liam Watson's tenure so he's back with us. Glad to see him back.

Judging by most of his performances he doesn't enjoy getting involved full stop. When he's good his quality shines through, but he's been a passenger in most games for us in the last 6 months. Probably for the best that he tries to get himself back on track at your place, he's of no value to us at present.
