Emphatic win against Leamington. 4 very good goals for us and not one of them from Ed Williams :ohm:.

Leamington never really got into the game they had their chances but they were all from distance really. Closest they came was when hit our own bar.

Was great to see Bradley and Chambers back amongst the goals as they were both on a goal drought. 1 point in it now between us and Chorley. If we'd not been shocked by FCUM or been clinical against Guiseley we'd be a few points clear. Can't mess up against bottom of the league again though when we play Southport this weekend.

Pundits are saying that you're the best team they've played this season. That suits us fine. We've played most of the season with a lengthy injury list. Nine unbeaten. 18 goals in the last 6 at home. We need to just start winning on the road. We're coming up on the outside.

Highlights from Tuesday's game between Leamington and Kidderminster. Leamington never got going....Kidderminster certainly did! Best side i've seen so far this season. Worth looking at their 2nd goal (5 mins exact on video) - belter!

Chester player Steve Howson who was fouled by ex Chester player Craig Hobson and sent off by dunce of a referee Mr Speedie for his trouble, has had his sending off rescinded. Unfortunately Speedie will probably be refereeing somewhere tomorrow.

To be fair (if possible considering his overall performance) to the referee, it was the linesman who flagged for the foul - and was the one responsible. If the ref accepts that the linesman was best placed to see (and the linesman was much closer to the action), then he had little option as Howson was last man.

Apologies to the two teams who will be unfortunate enough to be lumbered with him

Home to Telford tomorrow, looking to build on Tuesday`s point at FC United.

A strange one for us at the moment. Hope we can break out of this awful run. We just need a win by any means.

No league wins since Denton left is a damning stat though.

Its clear Wayne panicked after seeing the performance at Alty and its gonna take time for the new faces to bed in but its simply too easy to score against us and a clean sheet has looked a long way off. Hopefully we turn a corner at the moment. This group of players have it in them but they need to produce.
He wasn’t great when on loan with us earlier in the season.
Always impressed me on the occasions I have seen him (limited I admit!)

I see Ashton United have signed Josh Askew on a season long from Salford. Good signing that.

I spoke to Josh Askew at our game at Curzon Ashton early in the season and he seemed like a young man who just wanted to play football.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. We seem to think we can turn up and win when we play teams at the bottom.

Poor yet again today. Didn't deserve to lose though. Got fucked over by the abysmal referee. He missed 3 clear handballs and a punch was treated with a speaking to. Yet he seemed to be adament about a handball for their pen, when his hands were by his side and it was blasted at him. I think I speak for everyone here when I say that the standard of refereeing is awful at this level. Needs to be sorted out.

A fairly drab game. We looked a lot better than when I last saw us with several new players having a decent game. Once again a set piece has cost us, time and time again this season. I think Altrincham probably deserved a point.

Two HUGE games coming up against FC United & Southport both at home.

Can only completely agree with CFC4LIFE, what a diabolical referee, he was absolutely appalling, we were not at our best but when you are playing the officials as well then the opening goal was never going to be enough.

Either we're cursed or Darlington are the luckiest team on the planet right now. Hit the post twice and the crossbar three times but the game ended 0-0. Disappointed we didn't get the win we deserved but delighted with the improvement in performance after Tuesdays no show.

The officating at this level has certainly taken a nose dive this season.

Alfreton 1-1 Telford.

Pretty poor game and another disappointing performance from us.

We scrapped a point again but we look disjointed, loose and generally off the pace.

All is not well it seems. Rumours that Styche has fallen out with Heath already after only being here about a week. Other players are unhappy too but some players need to look at their performances too. Not good enough.

Think Reece Styche`s reputation went before him in his sending off today. Seemed to be clearly tripped in the centre circle but was rather harshly booked for diving before moments later the ref just seemed brought ridiculous hysterics from the Telford player who faked being caught and promptly sent Reece off. Awful decision.

That doesnt get away from another weak performance.

Seems to me this squad is simply not suited to Billy`s style and not sure the relationship between players and manager is strong.

Fleetwood in the FA Cup next....eek.

Totally dominated by Brackley today, but stole a 2-2 after 2 wonder strikes from Dan Mooney. Sign of a good team I'm told.

Not at all surprised by the FC United result at Blyth. Neil Reynolds has got them playing good stuff in the short time he has been there,

Hopefully you'll do what we've done since then as well.

Great win at Curzon today. We absolutely battered them in the second half. The only disappointment was that we didn't get more.

Our game was reffed by the apparently much maligned Mr Speedie. He certainly likes being centre of attention. Even his gestures and expressions are Mike Dean-esque in their comical exaggeration. However, we benefited from a red card and penalty so it'd be churlish to complain.

Scenes when that stunning equaliser went in, 93rd minute as well.

Would have been a good point beforehand, never mind after such a bad display.

We definitely played our get out of jail free card today, we rode our luck at times and got away with it simple as that. I couldn't argue with the performance GS you guys should have won.
I'd expect Guiseley climbing up the league in the coming weeks on this display.

Darlington 0 Guiseley 0

Not a great match today from the stands, pretty dull and dreary and not a lot to shout about.
On the plus side now unbeaten in five which is a step in the right direction, a fortnight's break to clear up one or two injury problems with the loss of Simon Ainge needing stitches.

We just couldn't get started today or even get into gear, losing Ainge before the interval didn't help matters our aerial threat gone. We created very little and weren't much of a threat to Guiseley whatsoever.

Where do we get these referee's from? Absolutely fucking clueless. I was surprised Trotman got man of the match? He played well, but i also thought that Hemming kept us in this match with a couple of decent saves, especially the fingertip save i was right behind the goal on that one. I thought he had good hands.

Guiseley were a decent team and should have won with a bit more luck, take into consideration the last two draws against Leamington & Bradford (with a-two-goal advantage). This one's a good point.

You're not alone, week in and week out they are getting worse the refereeing is weak and not fit for purpose. It really pisses me off.

We're finding a way to chuck away points game after game after game. With the exception of a dreadful 7 min defensive capitulation vs Darlington, I would say in every game I've watched this season (albeit I don't get to many away games - family and busy job) we've been the better side.

But we give away crap goals, miss chances to kill off teams (2 great chances at 2-1 yesterday spunked up the wall - then a second (wind assisted) wonder strike from the Chester player), & don't manage games well. So frustrating. Home to Blyth, then 3 tough tough away games in a row - Stockport, Kiddy and York - we'll probably be out of the playoffs by the time of our subsequent home match which is all the way on Boxing Day!

Kidderminster now favourites for the league despite yesterday? I'd give Chester and Chorley a chance - but it's up for grabs for anyone with some consistency. We lack the ruthlessness & the squad to win it - no injuries, but we have only got 4 subs (and the ancient assistant manager) on the bench these days. No reserve central defenders - don't know what happens if one gets injured.

Shout out to the ref Aaron Bannister today. He managed to make me shout and swear in the last 15 mins of that match possibly more than any other human being ever I think. Some simply awful decisions in particular with physical confrontations e.g with our CF being wrestled back during a potential 1 o n 1 breakaway, only to give the decision the other way.

I can forgive the ref not seeing something, making a mistake etc., but it is hard to take when they can see incidents clearly and then give them the wrong way or worse, cop out of giving tough decisions (my favourite this year being against Nuneaton when their GK lost possession of the ball to the Brackley striker outside the box, then hauled him down when he was through on goal with only one desperate defender rushing back onto the line, only to receive a yellow card - quite possibly the worst decision I've seen in 35 years of watching non-league football - so bad you just had to laugh).
