"There was a rumour going around weeks ago that we were signing a St Mirren player, Heaton was highly rated at Darlo."

That's off our forum. Hopefully this one comes through unlike O'Hanlon :bg:

I think O'Hanlon must have his earphones on and listening to that song 'Should i stay or should i go now'. He was on the bench now he's back in the team :dk:

What on Earth is going on at York? They are still full time with plenty of National League standard players, no?

5 years of succession of managers been worse than predecessor.
New one Collins is giving McNamara a run for worst in history.
Boxing Day players turned up having to much of a good time on Xmas day manager said, can’t wait for team tomorrow against Darlo will probably be pissed and manager does fuck all.

We just need to ride out another defeat tomorrow before hopefully things return to normal. Our injury crisis is mad, never seen anything like it before. This past week has never been a better week to catch us.

Asante out
Stopforth out
Livesey out
Burton out
Hughes out
Thomson out
Roberts in hospital midweek
Jackson had a minor op in midweek

Six of those eight are the top earners at the club.

Decent point for us all things considered, a step back in the right direction.

Asante had a medical earlier today as well so hopefully that will be announced soon!

A decent point for us too. Had to change the starting formation due to Bauress being injured, and we looked a bit leggy after a tough run of games. It was hardly a classic match, but NYD games rarely are.

Alfreton 1-1 Boston

Another ugly, feisty game officiated by a weak ref who had no control at all all afternoon

Another shambolic goal gifted after 80 secs thanks to shocking defending,

Couple of decent saves from Ramsbottom in the first half to deny Boston second.

The second half was tough watch before Hotte popped up with a equaliser in the 90th minute.

Just about and I mean just the right result. Not a lot between the two sides who both look destined for a midtable finish.

Rumours of Callum Chettle is to leave us and join Boston on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Absolute joke,

Heath and his ughly hoof ball.

Home support dropped by 120 and 3 wins in 16 league matches.

Oh and every other club in this league would have got rid of him after the Spennymoor debacle.

Happy new fucking year.

Poor crowd for us today reflecting how poor we've been since Stopford has been injured

Quality second half from us today, looking like the team we were at the start of the season.

Echo that, we looked good second half, good to see Leather back in action, thought his distribution was good, the Newbys were a class act and wow, a Josh O'Keefe covered every inch of the pitch, two good goals, the header was outstanding. Need to keep picking up the points now.

County’s gonna get ya!

* or more than likely lose to Bradford and make it a two-horse race.

I see Brendon Daniels has signed on a permanent deal with AFC Telford.

Haha. Superb with a dead ball but an awful team player and a bad apple in the dressing room. I see his chance at league football with Port Vale went well.

Four matches, four wins and four clean sheets against Alty this season.

Quite a similar game to the one against Kiddy in the sense that we weren’t at our attacking best but we still controlled the game, had the better opportunities and limited the opposition to long-range efforts. Difference in this one was we got a first-half goal - which meant we defended a lot deeper towards the end but managed to avoid any real scares.

Minihan was my MOTM for the third game running with Stott and Palmer close behind. Meanwhile Duxbury had Mantack in his back pocket without breaking a sweat.

Thomas lacked quality going forward yet again and Stephenson lacked confidence yet again - if we can upgrade our wingers and keep Stott then we’ll have a great chance at pushing Chorley for top spot.

Thanks Darlo for hammering us Boxing Day and getting hopes up for a change of manager, then turn up today and be truly awful. looks like nothing will change mid table crap, turn up 1 game and go missing next 2.
It is nearly a year since we have had back to back wins.
Anyway here is to Curzon winning 5-0 Saturday.

Back to the drawing board for us we were absolutely shocking today. I was bored out of my skull watching that rubbish.

Nothing much to take out of this game, we started off okay but obviously a dubious decision from the referee in the first 10-20 minutes or so might of changed the game completely.
On the day i thought the referee was very poor, a bit like our keeper he was dreadful.

No complaints whatsoever regarding the result York wanted revenge from Boxing day's humiliation and they got it with ease.

I can't understand why TW had to change a winning team? His tactics once again have to be questioned. Hughes went off injured so surely an ideal replacement for centre back was sat on the bench in Ainge? Or even stick him up top? He's fucking clueless.

Apart from the what an utter load of shite, had a few beers and great day out in York!
Fantastic following of Quakers considering the position we are in, and it's a shame the effort wasn't their from the player's that the loyal fan's richly deserved. Absolutely awful.

On the plus side as luck would have it, as it stands now (with the league table) bottom four got turned over.

I see FC United are at it again with their disciplinary record with another sending off to go with Saturday's red card against Spenny! They had two player's sent off against us back in Oct. Their player's seem to struggle to stay on the pitch.

Good to see you guy's back on track.

Six for the season for them, by my reckoning

I think they had two reds against us in our FA Cup game last year (they still won)

Adam Curry`s loan at Alfreton from Hull is not going to be extended. Huge blow to us. Has been brilliant but should be playing at a higher level.

I hope we bring in someone else as I cant bear to watch car crash Martin Riley at centre back for the rest of the season

I have no idea how Brackley did not score against Leamington!! Dominant display but Brackley just could not put the ball in the back of the net. Leamington were poor first half but improved after half-time. Definitely a point gained for Brakes, but Brackley will be annoyed to have not taken all three from a game they controlled.

Confirmed that Callum Chettle has joined Boston on a 1 month loan deal!

Absolute fucking joke. Been one of our better plays but not one of "Billys mates" so unfairly frozen out.

About the third player to get similar treatment and the second player to immediately join the opponents we have just played after Gowling joined Hereford.

We are rapidly turning in to a laughing stock and a farce.

Crowds dropping alarmingly. Decent players been forced out the club by the manager.

Cannot think of a single club in this league who would have not sacked Heath after the Spennymoor debacle.

Heath and his shite can fuck off. No wonder Halifax fans hated him so much

Leaving soon for a weekend up in Whitley Bay as we visit Blyth tomorrow.

Very little hope in pulling a result out of the bag that we need really to keep the relegation places at arms length. Blyth are a totally different animal to the side wee beat back in August being unbeaten in 11 games.

Hopefully we repeat last seasons feat and shithouse a 1-0.

Think the aim really is just to see the season out now and avoid the drop. Cannot see Ashton U, Curzon A and Nuneaton all getting enough points to overhaul us to be honest.

Big game this weekend as we host Bradford (Park Avenue) at Edgeley Park. The return fixture ended in a draw after a last minute Avenue equaliser!

Should be a good encounter. We're looking pretty solid at the moment but if BPA take the lead our recently successful game plan might change. Hopefully though we will come out on top and close the gap to the top 2 to just 1 point.

We've loaned forward Lewis Reilly to Curzon Ashton for a month. Guy is a great finisher from what I've seen but he's not physical enough to cope with the demands of league football. He had a good loan spell at Halesowen Town in the league below so I hope this experience will do him the world of good and that he'll fire Curzon up the league out of trouble.
