After our form against Stourbridge in cup competitions I don't want them anywhere near this league.

For those interested, Leamington lifted the Birmingham Senior Cup at St Andrew's on Thursday after defeating Nuneaton 4-1. Completes a successful season for Leamington. Equalled their highest ever finish of 13th in the National League North too!

Jesus, we never make things easy! Deserved the win I think, their goal was a mile offside

Unbelievably poor by the linesman for the Slty goal, their man was at least 5 yards offside. Still got the revenge with the equaliser then the penalties. Needless to say MOM went to Chirkey Kerper, Matt Urwin for his 3 penalty saves. Niw for payback against Spennymoor next Sunday. Come on you Magpies.

Yes, we did. We did say that when you were flying high and 8 minutes away from the championship, and when the gap was never bigger.

How silly we all now look as you bimble about in the bottom half of the NON LEAGUE conference national, losing to giants like Dover and Braintree and other clubs that no fucker has heard of?

Yes, we got it wrong.

Yes we are,shyte.
But still not as shyte as Darlo, struggling in the league below,in a shyte ground,in front of shyte crowds.
Bloody hell your best crowd for years was against our reserve side in the Durham Senior Cup or whatever it's called, when most of us didn't give a toss.
As for getting beat of teams no ones heard of,your the experts.

Went to Chorley, really enjoyed it. Pies are the best I've had in a very long time at a football match too. I'll never understand the mentality of a team that shoots the wrong way at home though, anyone got any explanations as why you'd negate your own home advantage? Even if the sun sets at one end of the ground, you'd surely establish the home end accordingly at the very beginning.

We did it a few weeks ago against Spennymoor due to the weather. High winds until 4 when it died down so we played with the wind in the first half. Worked wonders for us. There must be tactical reasons Chorley did it.

Had a great season but luck ran out a bit today. Losing Hulme to injury didnt help, but still took lead with a quality finish and looked like winning it as Chorley had little quality up front then got Hancock sent off (he rarely even gets booked) for sliding tackle that looked a bit 2 footed, and then it was backs to wall. Chorley get an equaliser from a foul throw and we see out until pens. Feeling confident after wed, but despite Chorley missing the first two we managed to miss the first THREE !

Best wishes to Chorley in the final, a decent friendly club, but I will be surprised if they win it as for me they are so one dimensional but they have a strong back line. Respect to Andy Teague who went out of his way to respect his opponents in defeat. If they do get promoted I would be very surprised if they stayed up long unless they dramatically improve upfront.

As for Alty, with everyone signed up for next year and probably a weaker league we have a great chance of winning it next year.

I was there too (in the away end mind) and had the same thought. Presumably it's because Chorley don't normally segregate so the fans would normally swap ends at half time. Their players are probably just used to it.

Promising signs for Altrincham despite the defeat. More than a match for Chorley until the red card. Was always going to be a big ask to come through three games to win promotion and if anything, another season of consolidation in the North may not be a bad thing in the long run.

Yes, I thought Alty looked decent coming forward, I can see why they've scored a lot of goals this season, but seemed content to sit back and defend for much of the game. They were comfortable though and the game plan was set to work until the red card, suspect they probably would have held out with eleven on the pitch.

We always play that way first half, whenever we've played the other way we never do well

Would agree that we need to be more clinical up front but would also point out that in actual fact we have scored only 2 less than the much vaunted Alty attack over the course of the season whilst conceding considerably less. The Alty goal was way offside and apparently the assessor told the Referee that he had got that decision wrong after the game. Credit to Alty fans who fave a good account of themselves, wish them all the best next season, think they will be right up there. Now on to deal with Spennymoor.

Keeper Sam Ramsbottom has left Alfreton. Apparently he is off stateside

Excellent shot stopper but error prone and liable to 2 or 3 rushes to the head a game!

Just wait until Radged Strings get bored and you’ll be in the shite.

Not the best scenario, as you’ll inevitably find out.

On another note, Darlo fans have raised over £40,000 in 4 days for the #BoostTheBudget We will hit the £80,000 target, wouldn’t surprise me if we get up to £100,000 by the end of May.

I couldnt tell from our end maybe the video will clear it up,.. is there one?
but he also missed the blatant foul throw that got you your equaliser, I know I was 6 feet away when he did it, the liner wasnt even looking !
Hulme had his foot broken by Blakeman btw went he went down first half,.. so would have missed the final anyway if we had won.

That is the problem isnt it, from where I was no way would I see the throw you are talking about. From my position, about 20 yards away, no doubt at all about the red card, we have to rely on these officials and I think the one thing g we probably all agree on is generally they are not good enough at this level. As I said before been impressed by Alty both in the league game here when you really should have been 3 up at half time, complete change second half and in the game at your. Just say the two players we had missing that day did make a huge difference to the game. Good luck next season.

Not 100% sure but at the club who finished highest in their league which would be Kings Lynn.

Thought it went down to average points per game. So North Ferriby folding screws the average a bit.
