Another defeat for us last night, at Wealdstone this time. We've got 4/5 players out injured (including Atkinson who got injured 20 mins into his debut in a Glos Senior cup noddy game) plus 3 that are still to come back to full fitness (all 3 forwards...) and it shows in the performances. Only scored 9 goals all season which is shocking.

Another defeat on Saturday and people will start to get concerned. Gotta turn the season around soon.

Gloucester played the ball around quite nicely on Monday night, I just couldn't believe how toothless they were once getting into the final third, whether that be wayward passing, a touch too many or striking high and wide.

As for us, I'll take the win but I don't like how slow our build-up play is. We have plenty of possession but when it's going side to side it's so slow that it allows the opposition to get back into a resolute shape.

Crowd of 675 was slightly alarming too and I did hear a couple of youths say they were deliberating about going to the Bath game since we're upping under 18 admission to £6 from that point onwards (somebody else please feel free to put this in the tinpot thread where it belongs).

-------------------------------

In other Conny Sarf news, I did enjoy Wheelie-binGate last night at Weston and there's rumours that Brad Quinton will be announced as the new Hemel manager tomorrow.

I thought he was very unlucky to get sacked at Braintree. He inherited a mess and took them back to the National Division at the first attempt. Would they have sacked him if they'd lost the promotion play-off final? Hardly surprising 6th/7th place teams struggle at the higher level when you let them into the play-offs.

Agreed on all those points. He’s not the new manager as Joe Deeney has just been announced as their new manager (Oxford City assistant manager).

Two dropped at Welling after they scored from their only shot on target but I won’t complain given we had only centre half and virtually no possession in the second half.

Glenn Wilson - unbelievable today! A rock at the back who was communicating with the rest of the back four and won everything in the air. We’re lucky to have him.

Defeat, again, this time at Evesham v Dartford. We took the lead and were generally in control but defensive lapses cost us the game. Sam Avery scored but then made a shocking mistake to let them take the lead and he's been prone to a clanger for too long now. Think his days could be numbered listening to Todd's interview. Half of this team are dross to be honest. Jamie Edge was released yesterday and had a melt down on social media. He's continually citing he was "player of the month" yet that is via an unofficial Instagram page, voted by about 8 people and run by a 14 year old kid who thinks Jamal Lawrence is akin to Ferenc Puskas.

Also gone recently are Matt Williams (signed for Swindon SM), Jamal Lawrence (also released yesterday), Will Morford (went to Hereford), Adam Page (Evesham)- they are all frankly well below that level now so no surprise they've gone. I don't think they'll be the only casualties.

Entire playing squad had become a Hartpury college pals act under Richards with no competition for places and an expectation that they just turn up and get a game. Glad we appear to have a manager who can finally see it and isn't scared to make the right decisions for the club. Just hope the replacements are better!

Brilliant 1-0 win at Hemel tonight, the performance being the total antithesis to what we saw on Saturday - energetic, organised and kept a lively Hemel side at arms length which was quite the feat given the quick tempo that the game was played at.

We've resigned Tyler Weir from Worcester. Always thought he was a good player so hoping he'll bolster up the defence a bit more and we can move Smerdon into midfield. Woking tonight for us though...

Big game tonight with all the teams around us winning last night. We could really do with 3 points - only 1 win in 7 league games for us. I see you've lost your last 6 though?

We've had a penalty in just about every game this seaosn so I'm going for:

Gloucester 1-2 Woking (Kretzchmar pen 88')

We've not had a single penalty all season. That just about sums it up

Words cannot describe that game last night but I'll try....

Open start to the match with both sides having early chances. We had a keeper making his debut on loan from Bristol City and he made a lazy throw right down the centre pretty much, straight to a Woking player who ran straight through our defence. Very slight contact, player stayed on his feet and no Woking players appealed but ref gives a penalty. 1 down.

We then equalise from a corner and before you know it we've stormed into a 3-1 lead. Just before the first half comes to an end, another penalty is given. Couldn't get a good view of it but looked like it was ball to hand rather than hand to ball with our player having no way of getting out of the way. Another penalty given...another goal. 3-2.

Second half kicks off and it's fairly uneventful, however as the game grows this keeper we have becomes more and more "eccentric" lets say, darting about his box with the ball and just generally cocking about it with it and every single one of us behind the goal is saying this guy has got a gaffe in him....

We then almost score a fourth twice, Andre Wright's shot is literally inches away from going in and Harry Williams strike is cleared off the line.

Ref then loses the plot completely. Noah Smerdon is booked for nothing and the ref produces a red card straight after. After a minute or so of protests, Smerdon starts walking off the field. At that point the ref then realises he's totally fucked it up and hasn't booked Smerdon yet, so calls him back and gives him a yellow. Where do they get these refs from?!

1 minute of time left...defence passes the ball to our keeper and in typical fashion instead of clearing his lines he bizarrely kicks it forward straight to Kretzshmar who can't believe his luck and it goes in. 3-3.

At this point a lot of our players drop to their knees and you know what is gonna happen...Thanks to the ref's almighty balls up, 5 mins of extra time is given. And in the 4th and a bit minute, Woking get a corner and it's headed in. By who, God knows. But 4-3 Woking.

Completely and utterly fucked off.

Possibly the craziest game I’ve ever seen! We also said in the first half the keeper had a mistake in him.

2nd penalty did look like handball from behind the goal though - defender had his arms raised. Be interesting to see the highlights!

Well worth reading Truro's club statement on why they'll be playing at Plainmoor until New Year's Day. It's because the club are going through a 'purple patch' of results and has absolutely no correlation to a monster 'home' gate they would get against Torquay on New Year's Day.

I'm just glad that it's been cleared up where we'll be playing on the 22nd December - train tickets booked and an early start out of Paddington.

I sympathise with their supporters but the way the club is run is a disgrace. They didn't want to play Dulwich at all on a Sunday two weeks ago when Torquay were drawn at home in the FA Cup, they wanted it postponed until a midweek evening later in the season so they could play at Truro.

Dulwich will now be playing Torquay at Tooting next weekend even though Champion Hill will be ready. We were advised to implement segregation, which we've never had before, and it was expected to be a sell out. Therefore it's been decided to play at Tooting where matchday arrangements will be more familiar in a larger ground.

Sensible decision to play the game at Tooting. I know CH is your home, but Tooting much better from a spectator point of view and the ability to segregate.

Dulwich Hamlet to officially return to Champion Hill on Boxing Day against Eastbourne Borough
We're hosting Welling at Tooting in a Trophy replay on Wednesday. If we win that and are drawn at home in the next round, that will be at Champion Hill on Saturday 15th December. (Assuming we don't draw Torquay presumably!)

First Stones game in nearly a month. Drab would be an understatement...

Think its safe to say O'Hara, Deering, Potter, Lafayette and a few other will be off shortly as well.

It's just Margate and Whitehawk all over again. But they've already cheated other clubs out of a promotion with their financial doping.
