What the hell is happening at Torquay, yellow? Coulda sworn about 5 games ago you were lower mid-table!

Gary Johnson happened! Has completely transformed the atmosphere at the club with pretty much the same team Owers had, has only made 3 additions to the starting line up and now we look a complete different team, full of confidence! Hopefullyour poor start to the campaign doesn’t hamper our chances of winning the title!

I have no idea. The way I've heard it, they (Truro) are going to play their remaining games (excluding the one against WsM) at Plainmoor and then disappear back across the Tamar sometime in the New Year. The only reason behind that that I can think of is money as they will be guaranteed two bumper crowds for the 'home' and 'away' fixtures with us. Will be interesting to see if we get the away end for our 'away' fixture with them..... over 2k of us squashed into the terrace and bit of seating on Bristow's Bench whilst the 100 or so six-fingered neanderthals from Kernow rattle about in the rest of the stadium.

There's no chance of that happening. The only reason they are staying until January is to get the money from their "home" game against us so they aren't going to restrict the attendance in any way. Plainmoor's away capacity is only about 1600 and we could feasibly attract 3000 Torquay fans for a game on New Years Day if we are still top of the league.

Pretty sure we will be given the home areas and they can have the away end.

Looking forward to the attendance being announced at the game "Today's attendance is 3150 with 3000 away fans" :bg:

Have you still only lost once since he came in? You’ve got 4/5 relatively easily fixtures coming up too.

Will most likely to down to the wire between Torquay/Welling/Woking. We’ve still got you and Welling to play at home (and Welling away). 6th April could be a big one! Just please don’t make me go to Torquay for the 3rd time this season in the playoffs.

Yep, the game against you in the cup is the only defeat. We've scored at least 2 goals in every league game since he took over to go from the lowest scorers in the league to second highest (equal with you).

It's an astonishing transformation from the dour tripe we produced under Gary Owers with only a few personnel changes.

We are a bit over reliant on our loanees from Bristol City though and I expect Lemonheigh-Evans will be off to a higher division in January as he is far above the standard of this league.

We (Dulwich) have played every other team in the division (we met our Boxing Day/New Year opponents Eastbourne in the FA Cup) and Torquay looked the strongest all-round side I've seen by a distance, on a day when we gave them a tough contest and made them fight hard for their win. They're clear favourites to finish top for me.

I do take solace in knowing that next Saturday's game at Plainmoor will definitely be on, last year's fiasco of the Truro chairman trying to get the game called off at Treyew Road was unpleasant. 5am start for me so hoping for 3 points!

To add what Pink Panther has said above, Torquay were light years above anyone else I've seen this season but that's to be expected with Gary Johnson at the helm and a full-time squad to work with.

What a day! Up at 4:45am, left my house at 5:20am and back through the front door just before 1am, all for a day on the sesh at Exeter.

In case you didn't know, our game against Truro at Plainmoor was called off so that means a re-arranged Tuesday night game in early February at Treyew Road - normally I would endeavour to make such a trip but after Truro's lack of concern for our club and our supporters, they can absolutely get stuffed as far as I'm concerned! The record low away following I've been a part of was 43 at Maidstone a few years ago and this will be considerably lower.

To the Torquay supporters who say it's a good decision for all parties, try telling that to the 80-90 Stones supporters who were either travelling or had already travelled down when all other local games passed their pitch inspection. I get the pitch has had greater wear and tear but that was a decision undertaken by the powers that be at the top.

Pinner Stones was on the same carriage and went to watch Exmouth vs. Bodmin. A few others went to Teignmouth so a few clubs locally benefitted from us being down there.

Don't get me wrong, I had a good time in Exeter and thankfully didn't pay too much for an advance fare but this is an absolute shambles from top to bottom.

I'm typing this after falling asleep on the train and having to pay £50 cab fare from Bedford to Luton. What a day!

No argument from me, I think every Torquay fan was pretty certain this game was going to be called off with even the lightest sprinkling of rain (and there wasn't much more than that on Friday night down here). Less to do with wear and tear and more to do with Truro trying to ensure their big payday on the 1st isn't jeopardised.

No doubt we were happy for the game to be off as well.

Pretty shabby all round I'm afraid.

Pretty shabby indeed. We were pretty certain it was going to be called off but Truro tweeted that the game would be on the night before. Then the following morning, they claimed that there had been heavy overnight rain, which was a lie, and that there would be a pitch inspectation. Stitch up of the highest order. Had a great day drinking in Exeter, Exmouth and Newton Abbott mind.

Could have been worse, as Aber says, only 80-90 were making the trip. Normally, for the weekend before Xmas, we would have expected 200, but there is great disillusionment with the manager, players and the club atm. We had nearly 300 at Bath three years ago. 250 at Poole two years ago for the pre Xmas jolly.

One plus, Tonbridge seem to have imploded so we won't have to deal with our usual loss to you lot.

After yesterday's showing against Folkestone, 'implosion' is putting it mildly.... but hopefully the Angels can get to play you the season after without having to win promotion...

Implosion is most certainly what we're doing at the moment. I've seen us lose 6-0 at Slough before and I fear New Year's Day could be a repeat of that given the total lack of cohesion on the pitch right now.

That said, the above pales into insignificance given two of the Wealdstone family (Les Bull and Simon Ricketts) have passed away this weekend. RIP.

Four league defeats in a row for poor old Tramplin’s Toytown Express.

Chris Todd is a fucking clown and the club is turning into a joke. He should have been sacked 3 weeks ago. Utter joke. We're doomed
