We missed a penalty on Saturday as well to go 2-1 up. Terrible pen - hit it straight down the middle about an inch off the ground so the keeper saved with his feet.

Can't win 'em all. Could have won that one though.

That's a blow, they only had a 50-50 chance of making the play-offs at best, but hopefully the trip that fans of Notts County and other teams at the bottom of League 2 were dreading won't happen!

There were some right bedwetters reading the Woking forum earlier on this week - ooh, somebody said some mean things in the reverse fixture, better segregate... which is now the case.

With the home side out for revenge after we beat them in controversial circumstances back in August, this could get ugly (on the pitch).

Edit: To the Woking lot on here, looking on Google Maps it seems anywhere near Kingfield is double yellows. Where are the nearest side streets that I can park in? TIA.

Woking leisure centre which is by the ground has a good size carpark

Leisure centre if early enough, if not try West Hill road which is about a 5/10 min walk (at the bottom of the 'hill') . You can park on the single yellows on weekends.

Some people on our forums are bellends. According to 'Stoo' (self appointed moral guardian) our pikey yoof fans have never done anything and every incident is the other club's fault.

The reality is that our yoof never kick off unless its segregated as they don't want an actual fight, they just want to pretend they're hard behind a gate/stewards/police.

That said - It's usually a better atmosphere when it's segregated so I'm happy it is.

We were terrible today. Wealdstone deservedly 2-0 up and then killed the game and we didn’t really look like scoring.

Our pitch has turned from being perfect on 9th January to a beach today. We’ve got 4 home games in February - in addition to the games Sheerwater play on it - hate to see what it will look like in a few weeks.

We’ve got Oxford away next. If we don’t beat them 7-2 we’re oficially worse than Torquay.

Sounds identical to our youth as I'm sure you saw first hand today DontBringBertie, I guess both clubs tolerate them however because ultimately they're the next generation of supporters. When they're not throwing flares or taunting supporters who are just there to watch their team then they're fantastic.

Fantastic performance from the players today, granted Woking's style and personnel perhaps played into our hands but they all worked their socks off. Jonathan North's save at the end to keep his clean sheet was simply remarkable.

Had Max Kretzschmar scored that 1-on-1 before HT then we get a point at best. Still can't believe he skied it.

Getting through my front door at 8am can only mean that last night was Truro away. Boggy pitch which wasn't conducive to passing football. That said there were two fantastic strikes in the game, the first being Tyler Harvey's free-kick just before half time and the second being Danny Green's winner, a curling effort from 25 yards.

Attendance of 251 at Truro last night. Dulwich's attendances have gone through the roof after a similar period in exile for very different reasons, but Truro's seem to be lower than what they used to get. It must be costing someone a fortune to subsidise their overheads at this level. You can see what's coming if this new stadium development doesn't materialise, meanwhile a sensibly run club will probably relegated instead.

Going up a place despite not playing today. Cheers Hungerford for absolutely smashing St. Albans. The latter will be out for revenge in their next league game, I wonder who that's against?

2-1 win at Slough last night. Still unbeaten under Cook. Fabien Robert with an absolutely outrageous volley as well. We are a totally different team from the rabble Chris Todd put out.

1 nil win at Hampton. Robert yet again with the goal. Cannot believe the turnaround in form. We've only conceded 1 goal in 5 games too. Unreal. We do need a forward though, ours are still looking pretty toothless at the moment but thankfully most results went our way yesterday too. Giving ourselves a big chance to escape the drop.

We play you in the last game of the season... could be interesting. Hopefully you will have lost your form again by then!

It would be even better if Gloucester were to suddenly lose their form when we go to Evesham in a couple of weeks time.

2-2 draw against St. Albans yesterday, always disappointing to concede an equaliser in the 91st minute but the result was fair. Saints will argue that they should have a penalty in the first half and from the other end it looked stonewall. As for us, well I'll say yesterday was inconsistent. I thought we had better approach play than St. Albans but after taking the lead it was very much long balls into the channels hoping for Dave Pratt to run onto which proved ineffective and allowed St. Albans to regain control of the match.

Eastbourne away next Saturday who yesterday announced the departure of Jamie Howell. They're our kryptonite (3 draws and 6 defeats) so I'm travelling more in hope than expectation.

Hopefully we'll be safe by then and the result won't matter! If so it might be the last time you see us in a while as I'd imagine, with the leagues the way they currently are, we'd be heading back North.

Former Barnet manager Mark McGhee is the new interim manager at Eastboroune Borough

I pity the Eastbourne fans immensely.
However, maybe the curative effects of sea air will have a beneficial effect on McGhee?

Oh god Eastbourne I’m ever so sorry.

That whole town will have a cloud over it until he disappears back down his little hole again.

Dreadful appointment. He's caused utter carnage at every club he's managed since his first spell at Motherwell which was a long time ago now. He can count himself very lucky to still be in work at any level of football.

He's basically the Alan Pardew of the lower leagues, only with an even worse track record and even more of a bellend.

It doesn't matter how incompetent Mark McGhee is however, he's got a guaranteed win on Saturday.

Blimey - still knocking around eh?

Remember him in the 90s at Wolves and Leicester!

Erm...

Looking at Eastbourne's league position I'm expecting then to get sucked in now.

We lost at home to Grimsby when Slade was in charge, that's how bad McGhee is.

Reverse psychology but fina-fucking-lly we've beaten Eastbourne. We're still owed at least 3 dodgy red cards and some suspect calls before we can finally call it even with them however.

Annoyingly I missed today's game despite making it to St Leonards Warrior Square via a combination of some fuckwit setting off the emergency alarm in the bogs (and not apologising) and then my mate leaving his phone on the train meaning a belated trip to Hastings retrieving said phone.

It ultimately means I've missed my 3rd game of the season after Chippenham away and ironically Eastbourne at home.

Billericay at home on Monday night. That could get lively.

Another cleansheet for us in a goalless draw with Chelmsford. Decent defensive display but a dreadful game. Chelmsford had God knows how many corners but failed to make anything from them. Neither side created much at all. Not one to remember but a valuable point.
