That footage is pretty awful and sadly, Yeovil will pay the price for the mindless actions of a handful of idiots.

Not sure what precedent there is but throwing bottles etc. on to the pitch and the allegations of racist abuse will need to be seen to be dealt with very firmly by the FA.

Would not be at all surprised to see Yeovil thrown out of the competition, especially as the logistics of rearranging the game and fitting in a potential replay would be very difficult.

I expect us to be thrown out. The frustrating thing is it's a small (dozen at most) bunch of young lads who haven't got a braincell between them and who don't represent the rest of us who have a great reputation.

I know some right twats who follow Notts and the idea that the club or genuine fans who go week in week out would be punished for their actions is ridiculous.

If CCTV can’t identify the individual perpetrators in these circumstances than we are really struggling.

I can't really see how you could conceive it was a 'poor Brackley against the odds' post from what I actually wrote. Clearly it was a post frustrated that for the last few years we can't convert good players performances into just a little more that might get us over the line in terms of promotion. I mention the PT status because if it isn't a benefit to be full time, why would teams be full time? QED it's a factor.

In terms of helping me to know more how to run a club, I wonder how many of the creditors got paid during your three administrations? I'm fairly sure that you had some chairmen pumping in some money too in the past... not always with much success as I recall. Please don't waste the electricity to tell me you're now a phoenix club or whatever so it doesn't count.
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/n...creditors-unlikely-to-get-darlington-fc-cash/

It's Hartlepool fans who will tell you that we're a phoenix club. I would never play the "phoenix club" card because we aren't one.

You'll note that I phrased my response to you "since we became fan owned", not "since we started again" (cos we didn't). Regarding administrations, we've absolutely had chairmen putting money in, in the past, which is how we ended up in admin 3 times. This is why I'm against bankrolling, I know first hand the consequences.

Anyway I really don't want to turn his into an anti-Darlington post - I've nothing against your club or any other (in fact I'm really impressed with the funding raising your fans do) but I don't think I've ever posted a criticism of any other club... yet people seem to have a pop at mine regularly for just being who they are.

It does make me laugh though to talk about 'at this level'. It's Conference North FFS - the sixth tier of English football. It was designed for clubs like mine to be in - maybe punching above our weight, but nevertheless it isn't our fault there are a number of ex-league clubs who've fallen on hard times down in the depths too with complexes about this.

I'd agree that it was "designed" for clubs like yours to be in, until many larger clubs tumbled down to here and raised the bar in terms of finances required just to compete at this level.

Yes we have a chairman who puts money into the club - although to what extent no-one knows. If I had his money I'd do it too. Wouldn't you? Brackley is a humble club that has grown its presence well in the town, does a lot of community work, is mostly volunteer run, and has no pretensions. Anyway if you dislike clubs whose chairmen put in money, then you'll have to hate many many clubs from Man City downwards...

No I wouldn't bankroll Darlo as it happens. I never said I disliked Brackley, I just think you're artificially inflated like Spendy More (though maybe not as much so), and others. It just pisses me off that we can't compete with the likes of Spendy for players.

Though what you said about mainly volunteer staff (thus reducing costs and reducing the amount of bankrolling required), and good community links, is impressive and duly noted.

This Viking Magpie and B2TF argument is fucking riveting stuff.
Yeah looks like I got a new fan. I feel kinda responsible for you guys now. I'm just trying to draw y'all out of your shells a bit and one day, hopefully, you'll want to go find yourselves a girlfriend. A lot of work still to do yet though, I think. :ds:

Aka I wasn't there the last time we played Notts in a competitive match. So the whole " I knew it wouldn't be long before we'd be crossing paths with you, again" was just made up wasn't it? Unless you were born in the 1960s and think emoticons are just the greatest :ffs:

Either you just make things up, and need to be a lot better at it or you are over 50 and really need to let your obvious love of emoticons go.

Think carefully before answering.

A) Just made it up , cos I need the attention from the internet

Or

B) Over 50 and love an emoticon, they are the best thing ever.
Why what's wrong with 'em chuck?:woo::woot::bdick::ds:

I recognise a few of them and they are known idiots, so hopefully very long bans coming their way. It annoys me that we are going to be tarnished with this now whether it’s proven or not. Can’t wait to go into work tomorrow and get called racist.

I've got B2TF on ignore, am I missing out?

Well, if I've got this right without having to re-read lots of shite, B2Tmeth wants to 'lock horns' with Notts even though the last time they met was in 1973 ( bless 'em). The Viking Magpie asked why he used so many emojis and wondered how old he was as only old men would remember the time that FC Wankyfax played Notts and old men are apparently obsessed with emojis.

Sitting there in his mummy's knickers, like a fucking tranny out of the league of gentleman, B2TF dodges questions of his age, accusing the Viking Magpie of turning 1FF into a dating site. B2TF is flattered by the attention as ever and obviously fancies TVM as he flips into full on prissy female mode by not revealing his age, as being a desperate old codger, he doesn't want his new mate to know how much of a sad lonely loser he really is.

Not pleasant I get that, but at least you didn't have Gareth Southgate talk about our 2 idiots prior to the Bulgaria game and the ITV commentators referring to it like it was the whole ground and some way comparable to the events in Sofia. You'll be in the black book for a while but it's all about how the club responds. All clubs have minority idiots, no exceptions. It's up to Yeovil to sort it out and show they won't tolerate it.

Haha I’ve got Magpie on ignore but as it seemed that B2TF was arguing with himself I decided to click on ‘show ignored content’ and then instantly regretted it.

Wow! What a stunning update lol.

Not a fan of using the 'ignore' function but I can fully recommend getting fishy to ignore you, based on this prime example alone.

Thanks for the 'no update' update.

The lobbing of the bottles is utterly brainless. Were those bottles being sold by Haringey?, if so brainless from them too

That video is 7 minutes the YTFC fans wont be too proud of

I expect the game will be replayed

Once again I didn't catch your answer?

A or B? Where you around for the 1972/73 league clashes between Halifax and Notts?
The clue is in the name- (B)ack 2(to) T(he) F(uture). 'Course I was- I've got a fucking car that will take me there, you doofuss. I was at The Shay too in 1921 when we played our first ever Football League match against Darlington, we won 5-1, an absolutely cracking day. I saw us beat West Vale Ramblers 12-0 in the FA Cup, I was at Stockport when we conceded 11 goals in second half and lost 13-0. Oh yeah, I've been around.

So you just made it up. No need to call him Lt Columbo , I guessed that from the start.

Noted.

Hopefully you don't do this too often or nobody will believe a word you say.

I don't know where they got the bottles from but they shouldn't have been allowed to have them on the terrace. Apparently the stewarding was about as good as Solihull's.

Another post hijacked by that bell end from shitsville.

It's not all about your tinpot phoenix club, stop smothering threads on other topics with shite about you and your bloody club, that no one outside the 1300 poor souls at the Shay give a flying feck about.

I don’t know whether bottles were allowed in because Haringey is a step 3 club. At Potters Bar Town they were selling bottles of beer which could be drunk in full view of the pitch. I didn’t check to see if they were glass though.
