Interesting, at my club LEU, step 5 if you want to leave the clubhouse with a drink it has to be in a plastic cup.

I don’t know whether bottles were allowed in because Haringey is a step 3 club. At Potters Bar Town they were selling bottles of beer which could be drunk in full view of the pitch. I didn’t check to see if they were glass though.

On investigation I think they were PET bottles at Haringey. Most clubs these days remove the lid from even a Coke bottle before letting you have it.

Seen this posted on quite a few non league groups

Pretty damning. The bottle throwing alone should end up with trouble for Yeovil.

Also, we've all been in lower league/non league football crowds. Looking at the people involved in the crowd I'd have been shocked if there wasn't racial abuse being used, and the reaction of the Haringey player seemed to suggest something was said.

I also think the actions of the Yeovil players and other members of the away following who were obviously as disgusted as anyone should be noted. But there is still an issue, but it's an issue in society that is reflected in football.

Your views on racism are ridiculous , and you yourself admitted your past comments were wrong.

That thing you're referring to was about Sol Campbell and Macclesfield. At the time I said that I believed things have moved on from the 70's/80's and football fans aren't concerned anymore about clubs appointing BAME managers. Quite a few members on here then replied that I was wrong and things were still the same if not worse. I respect said members' opinion, and I also realised that just because I haven't witnessed something doesn't mean it's not out there. I'm not a narrow minded person and I own up to my mistakes. Perhaps you should try this sometimes.

My personal view on racism remains the same it has always been -
racism sucks. In what way is that ridiculous?

You've answered your own question in your last post. Your views and opinion regarding the Sol Campbell / Macclesfield were so wrong , deluded and wide of the mark that it was laughable . As pointed about my numerous people on here.

I promise you if I'm ever so badly wrong on such an important and serious topic , I will openly admit my mistake and apologise like you (thankfully) did.

I am pretty confident though that I will never be in the position.

The last bit you put has absolutely nothing to do with your Sol Campbell comments and how it doesn't exist in football nowadays but nice to know we agree on it being a bad thing in football and society

Vanni has always strongly denied all the accusations of him being a racist tbf.

Good to see arrests being made, and also common sense prevailing and the tie being replayed instead of awarded to Haringey.

Just clarify things for one or two of you. I'll continue to post what I want, when I went. If you don't like it, use the ignore button. Not hard is it. Thanks. :ds:

I’ve been to Notts County twice and both times the home fans were racially abusing opposition players.

Harrogate vs Pompey and Dulwich vs Carlisle look the obvious TV ties to me.

So if we beat Billericay we get an away game at Forest Green? Fantastic.

The look of disappointment on Paul Dipre’s face when the bobbins were drawn against Boston was priceless. What an arrogant turd that man is. Hope the Pilgrims smash ‘em

Happy to see Chichester get the bye, but that was a pretty crap draw otherwise. Does at least mean that a good number of Non-League sides will make the 2nd Round, though.

When was that? Not saying we don't have racist fans but I've not heard any racist chanting against opposition players for decades and not much then tbh.

Don't know what Southend's finances are like, but we played Bury this time last season

Woking or Ebbsfleet away for us, not bad. Certainly better than just about any FL team away, and preferable to quite a few at home. In our current form I’d fancy our chances of getting to R2

Your posts are pretty shitty all the time, you get into arguments more than any poster I’ve seen in the League 2 forum and that section is way better without you being there every week. I was sad when Notts went but pleased that you did and I don’t want County back purely to keep you out the way.

Cut the shit as you could be a good poster, you’re clearly articulate enough. You just post wind up stuff all the time.
