Really looking forward to our local derby with Belper tomorrow. They’re bringing 1500 and there should be a decent home turnout at £10 a ticket. Might even be looking at the highest final qualifying round gate ever, I don’t know.

Sounds like we’ll be playing a strong team so we should go through...

Looking forward to our trip to Haringey tomorrow. We should have around 400 fans. HBFC have kindly agreed to have a minute's applause before kickoff for Yeovil fan Martin 'Badger' Baker who sadly passed away recently. He created Ciderspace, possibly the best and most comprehensive independent fans' site in the country

That was very sad news about Martin, even as an opposition fan I knew of Ciderspace. Whatever happened, it seemed very sudden. Hopefully someone can carry on the website as part of his legacy.

Thanks, he really was a club legend. It was a massive heart attack so at least it was instant and he didn't suffer.

A number of fans are in talks regarding continuing Ciderspace, the stumbling block is access to the site. The ownership of the domain becomes part of his estate and we are trying to establish if his next of kin are aware and would be amenable to it being transferred or at least access given.

I'm in Cheshire for 2 weeks looking after my mum who had a heart bypass op 5 weeks ago (she's doing well) so will actually miss this one. Runcorn actually knocked us out of either the cup or the trophy a few years ago so are not a bad side and Wukkie are doing well in the league so that should be a good match. Barrow v Solihoof should too - particularly if you like watching games in driving rain and high winds. If you choose the Barrow match hit up Monkey tennis as i'm sure he'll be there. Where in Cumbria did you move to by the way?
Hope things keep progressing steadily yr end then. I'd make a reference to the #FootballFamily, but the DNA test's come back and I'm of korfball lineage.

Wukky were excellent against Ramsbottom the other week, but at the same time the Rammy defence were as bad as any I've seen. You could just run through them. Watched us play Dover on the clubhouse screen after the game with an owd boy with an anorakish knowledge of football grounds. Exactly my type.

High expectations in place. Are you around, Monkey Tennis? I have a cookery class with Chris Eubank straight after so can't stick around for long.

Sorry mate, been on the road all day - I'm chaperoning my nephews tomorrow, so won't be around the club house, but there's always a good crowd in there from an hour or so beforehand. Cooking with Chris Eubank? I knew he was into youth hostelling...

Back to Barrow for the 6th time for me. Very difficult match.
4th in the league against 6th in the league - would have been the top match in a league set of fixtures. can't see it being quite as easy as last time though.

Oh shit - Joe Johnston is the ref at Barrow v Solihull
Edit - just checked back and he reffed the league game between the 2 teams at Barrow in September too.

We just didn’t up our tempo, were too conservative with our passing and movement and actually played worse after Pavey’s penalty miss.
Potters Bar hung in there and scored with virtually their only opportunity. Even then it took Sweeney sticking his foot out to divert it in as Loach had it covered.

We're dealing with an awful cocktail of Joe Johnson, Solihull Moors and in particular Jamey Osbourne.

It's been very stop start as you'd expect.

Got here before me. According to radio a bottle was thrown at Haringey goalkeeper after the award of the penalty. 5 minutes of delay before penalty was scored but players have walked off after another object was thrown during the penalty.

Disgusting if true. Hartlepool keeper allegedly had a padlock thrown at him from a Yeovil fan a couple of weeks ago. Inexcusable.

Shit. We finally score to go 1 up then some 'fans' throw stuff at their keeper and the Haringey players have walked off and are refusing to play.

I can't believe this has happened. In all my years of following us i've never seen our fans throw anything. We've had zero arrests in years, we just aren't that sort of club.

Possible racist abuse aimed at one player too.

I've just had this from a mate who's at Haringey

"It’s an absolute disgrace, once again few idiots caused problems. We got a penalty their keeper sprayed water at Yeovil fans then someone threw beer, then a bottle was thrown. Penalty then scored and 2 more bottles thrown, with that they took their players off, rightly so"

I know. Ridiculous. Only serves to put the club and the fans in a poor light.

Thanks for that. Only getting updates from fans on twitter that are condemning the behaviour.

That's annoying, probably people who never go normally and have just turned up for the cup game. Every club attracts them now and again.
