Well we don't look like scoring either !!

Probably 0/0 then or 1-0 either way with an OG or VAR penalty.

It feels early for a relegation six-pointer, but tonight's match against Watford already feels like one of those. A draw helps neither side, while a win will be major for either side in terms of confidence.

It's far from our only issue, but our confidence is completely shot at the moment and we need to go out and attack tonight to try and get that confidence back with a win. I just don't see it happening, though I'm sure Watford fans feel equally bleak at the moment.

As I say before probably be a draw .

We won't go out to attack as such - rather sit back and hope to hit you on the break.

Hopefully it's not too cold for our attackers - particularly GD who was wearing gloves in September!!

And that is why we're going down and with a lower points total than Derby. Absolutely disgraceful, farcical and embarrassing. Can't defend, can't pass, can't do anything right.

Can we just concede the rest of the season now, as we aren't remotely competitive and won't win again this season. Hell, we may not even pick up another point at this rate.

It's terrible to say, but I hope our squad gets decimated in the summer so we have absolutely no chance of competing for promotion again, as it's a complete waste of time under the current owners to be in the Premier League.

But.....you did finish 5 points above us. So you must be better than one other club at least

Not ideal results today with Newcastle and Everton winning .

West Ham in free fall though.

Spurs saved a point by VAR again !

Glad Sheffield U scored in the end .

Thing is it actually wasnt offside, I'm baffled by how they've come to the conclusion that it was. Outplayed spurs for the majority of the match today, still unbeaten away, great season so far.

The lines they use, as imperfect as they are, did show him to be offside. They checked against Dier's toe and shoulder to make sure too. Well, at least I think it was Dier if I remember correctly.

Horrendous decision in the Liverpool v City game. Clear handball from TAA not given by VAR.

The red line is the attacker. It clearly shows him offside. The shoulder and toe of Dier were furthest forward and they were both looked at and both behind the attacker. Remember, perspective makes the tallest part of you seem closer to the line. You need to draw a line down to the ground from his head or shoulder to see how far forward he actually is in 2D.

I’m sorry but how can VAR not see that handball from TAA? The rule is any handball in the box is a foul, right?

What an absolute disgrace, it was so fucking obvious

It wasn't deliberate from taa, my view of football it's not handball. As for us if your giving offside for them, which imo is not actually offside from tho photo I've seen, football is over, our fans went berserk for that goal, the celebrating for the goal that stood was so muted, killing the game.

The Premier League are saying that it's not handball because his arm was in a natural position. I think they're just making up an excuse because they fucked up and they know it.

The city player handballed it first anyway, it's not a fucking deliberate handball simple as that, what the fuck is wrong with people.

It denied a chance for Aguero though, plus it was Liverpool, if he was armless and it hit his chest I'd still want a pen. Fuck em

Nothing, it's just that "deliberate" is not relevant to the handball rule any more. Whether he did it on purpose is neither here nor there. If Bernardo Silva handballed it then it should be a free-kick to Liverpool. If the ref played advantage then it should have ended with the TAA handball.

I gusss this is where the lack of communication comes into play ?

We could be hearing the ref and VAR explaining why the penalty wasn't given due to the ball hitting Sliva first .

People still might not agree but understand the decision..

Yeah but then they'd have to openly admit that they don't understand the laws of the game. Claiming it was about hand-position is subjective enough that they can mostly avoid humiliating themselves.

But then it's a foul to Liverpool. If Blademan89 is correct in saying that if an attacking player handballs it then its a free kick without question, then you can't just ignore that.

It's shocking refereeing and officiating from VAR

I didn't see the referee play advantage though. Did he?

The VAR referee can't make up his own advantage to save the referee. And even if he did play advantage (I don't think the referee even saw it) then you'd surely have to stop it for the handball, because it's a definite handball
