Ha! I was asked to put Aspins name out there while they worked on bringing the man they really wanted on board. :ds:

Ah, now I just feel sorry for you.

Sounds like Harrison got down to the final 3 as well as Nathan Clarke. Believe Harrison was in the final 3 when Fullarton got the job. Two lucky escapes it would appear. Think Wild could be a decent appointment.

Apparently Moore and Aspin didn’t apply despite declaring interest in the media. Probably just trying to keep themselves relevant for better jobs that will inevitably pop up later in the season

I'm genuinely shocked to hear you say that- a real Town fan would think there ISN'T a better job! #Lightweight :eyes:

Considering the circumstances we are in, you can’t blame potential managers for being wary. Think we might have a good one though in Wild

That's a good rule of thumb for Tin Pottery, also those that have one but may as well not bother- Harrogate's has had just 60 comments since 1st of May, that's not even 1 a day, and non at all between 20th June and 14th July. Honestly, if I didn't post on there the whole thing would just collapse in on itself. :fl:This is a club that made the play-offs last year and is chucking even more money at it this year. What for! Nobody gives a fuck.

Not as half funny as your plummeting attendances at your council funded ground.

Last season remind me of the two clubs average attendances??
This season Town will be as big as the phoenix tin pot club 2008. Enjoy an even more desperate season rattling round in a ground much too big for a tin pot phoenix club. Back to the national north and you know it.

Piss off, if you'd had OUR season you wouldn't have broken into 4 figures. I met one of your lot at a Town game the other week, he'd been to a game at yours the night before and said there was "hardly anybody there". He was GOBSMACKED at the number of Shaymen who'd turned up for a friendly miles from home. I laughed and told him it was nothing (about 250-300) it was about what you'd expect for a REAL football club at a fairly local friendly. He didn't like that. :ds:

You had a great season. Mid table 5th tier is above your natural level.

Yeah, I know last season was the pinnacle of your short history so I'll let you enjoy it while you can :ds:

Not really, was it. Pro-tip: jokes work best when they contain an element of truth. Back in the day we knew that no matter how shit we were, we could always count on Hartlepool to be worse.:fl:

Awww bless, enjoy the ride. Plucky FC Halifax 2008 with 1000 home fans finishing above proper clubs (on goal difference) must be one hell of a thrill.

Yeovil don't have one and neither do Fleetwood

We don't have one on purpose, the ones we did have got taken over by shouty bellends. The Ciderspace FB page and #YTFC on twitter do the job perfectly well. Messageboards and forums are very tinpot in this day and age.

The great man is in action from the touchline in Belgrade on S4C right now.

I thought I saw him too. Is he responsible for their 7-3-0 formation and their hot potato approach to possession?

Can't see Challinor going unless they're still where they are after about 20 games.

Hope you're right. Hughes is definitely walking a tightrope though. 94% want him out on red passion and other polls on Twitter and Facebook have similar.

Whoever okayed a 3.5 year deal for Bryan Hughes previously sacked by Scarborough Athletic needs shooting with shit, can you see him walking or the board paying him up 7 months into a 3.5 year deal?

We don't have to pay the full 3.5 year contract off, just the amount up to the end of that season. It's how other clubs have managed to steal our managers for so little in the past.
