Bit of arrogance from Pompey tonight?

Our captain mentioned thay Lee Brown was messaging our team asking for a favour to beat Barnsley on Saturday.

Bit assumptive before even playing Peterborough, no?

Wow! Did not expect that at all - thank you very much Peterborough always rated them! Commiserations Portsmouth, fantastic season in their own right.

So happy for everyone at the club tonight, the players have gone above and beyond all expectation this season. Gary Sweet in particular deserves this as well. Hope Big Mick can take the relegation to the conference off his own shoulders too.

This is the greatest season, in my opinion, in our history.

The problem with Lambys reply is he thinks he’s some sort of genius who managed to wind someone up.

It’s like dealing with Trump.

Well done , you'll be back in a season I'm afraid , think Barnsley have better chance of survival , massive jump into the Championship from League 1, will miss the weirdest entrance to a football ground ever.

We've only been promoted 17 minutes...

That is a record for the quickest promotion smackdown.

Excuse me lads, the result of the night ( and season ) Fleetwood's terrific win against Sunderland
Ok the visitors should have been out of sight by half time, easily 3 up, second half transformation. Fleetwood were the miles better team for the majority of the game and scored a very well worked equaliser
In the 4th minute of injury time I said to my mate, what a way it would be to finish our home games with a last minute winner and they b....did !!!! F.....brilliant
If all goes to plan for the Sunderland we will probably never play you again so history was made, oh yes for the first time this season we won after being a goal behind
Finally congratulations to Luton and Barnsley, wish you well in the Championship, it will be tough and if you both survive the first season you can become an established team in that league

Relegated on TV on Saturday love it.

Well done Luton and Barnsley. Luton by far best team I’ve seen this season would’ve been well proven other than late blip and a disaster if they cocked it up totally

Absolutely absurd that only 1 of the following teams won’t be playing L1 football next season:

Portsmouth
Sunderland
Charlton
Bolton
Ipswich

Being embarrassed on tv and getting our relegation confirmed, I will say no to that one.

Beat Sunderland and stay up. How can that be beyond your wildest dreams. Fleetwood just did it and now they have nothing to play for.

Sunderland fans, if you've nothing to play for on Saturday do you think you'll rest a lot of your first team?

For a brief moment yesterday we were looking at something to play for on Saturday, nevermind.

We'll probably play the same sort of team as we did against Fleetwood so it's a good job I have a few hours before kick-off in Southend to prepare for that. We do sort of have play-off placing to play for but we had something more important to play for yesterday but after we went 1-0 up we decided to invite pressure onto us, so that's always a possibility even if we score on Saturday.

We've sold out our away allocation but how many people turn up now is another matter, I have a feeling the atmosphere in the away end will be flat (well, flatter than usual this season).

Either way our form is minging, the football is tedious and the atmosphere around the club isn't spectacular at the moment which is good going into a playoff game against probably Charlton. It would be nice to have a good performance leading into the play-offs and have a feeling of momentum but I have a feeling the Southend result will just compound the underlaying feelings of our failures this season.

Also congrats to Barnsley and Luton. Barnsley played the best football we've come across this season, even in hurricane winds they passed it around us and back-to-back promotions for Luton, bloody hell.
