Well Luton you have to beat Oxford by a couple of goals today, we've just announced a bewildering line up.

Our 3rd keeper (awful) in goal, no Holmes-Dennis or Clarke-Harris in the squad at all.

Our 3 best players not even in the squad & with a dodgy keeper. Seems like a 5-0 win for Barnsley coming

As it stands at HT:

Southend -13 50
Wimbledon -21 50
-----------
Plymouth -24 50
Walsall -22 47
Scunthorpe -30 46
Bradford -28 41

That 5-1 loss to Accy will really seem unbelievable at this rate!

Plymouth doing their bit but still not enough as it stands, if Southend can hold on then that is a result worthy of securing your survival.

Always confident of the 3 points against promoted Barnsley.

You're welcome Luton!

Really enjoyed the game today, both sides looked to play a bit and Oxford certainly were not on the beach at all. Got some really promising looking players there I think, makings of a decent side if they can keep some of them together. Some of them did get played a bit by some of our more experienced stagers like McCormack and Collins. Collins in particular gave there young centre half a bit of a run around and Shinnie ran the game from midfield, probably my MOTM today with McCormack also up there. Wonder if that was McCormacks last game, looked a bit like I at the end there. We knocked it about pretty well, the 2nd was a great flowing move and vintage Luton from this season.

What a season and what a team, wasn’t that fussed about being Champions but pleased the players get that recognition. Not a dig but interesting both scorers were ex Barnsley players! Pearson almost got one too!

Something that really took the gloss off yesterday... it appears that Jason Cummings was sacked / sent back to Nottingham Forest this week after apparently having an altercation with Glen Rea at the Luton Town awards night last weekend. Apparently he got hold off his crutch and threatened him or others with it. That was the rumour anyway.

That is massively disappointing. But I think it also proves that no team can touch him with a barge pole . He has now fallen out with three teams this season. He is unsignable.

Did think it was a bit odd he wasn’t there at all yesterday, didn’t play a huge part in it in the end but did score 1 massively important goal for us.

That’s quite sad really, bloke has talent but clearly has some issues personally, think he probably needs to go back to Scotland and get himself sorted out.

I know it wasn't crucial in the end, but that Scunthorpe equaliser yesterday was bloody disgraceful.

The TV replay didn't really do Moncur's free kick justice. But to get the ball around the wall like this is bloody brilliant. If this was Messi...

Very soft free kick that was never a foul, which in effect changed the course of the game only a few minutes in. After that you always had a bit of breathing space. There was an argument between our keeper and Sam Long after the goal, which appeared to be about the position of Eastwood in relation to the wall. Eastwood showed the space, but then positioned himself too far over to get to it.

I thought Robinson got his starting line up wrong today and should have definitely started Gavin Whyte, and probably Jerome Sinclair and Mark Sykes. This would have offered us much more pace, particularly on the break, and a much better press, both things which have been a focus of our game and both of which were missing yesterday.

I thought Luton played quite well, but at 2-1 we were definitely asking all the questions, and if we hadn't got caught out for the third when we did, I think it could have been a very different outcome. Overall I'm disappointed that we never gave a decent account of ourselves over the 90 minutes.

Having said all of that, I can see why Luton have done so well and think you looked a much better side than earlier in the season at our place. I'd say the best three performances against us this season were Barnsley away on the first day of the season, Charlton at our place (ironically a game we won) and Luton yesterday.

Shame the midweek games rendered it almost meaningless, as I think we'd have seen a more nervy Luton, a stronger Oxford line up, and much more of an "attritional occasion." Still well done, I'm not churlish enough to not say it, and I think you've deserved to go up for your consistency. Luton are very high on the list of clubs that I don't like (it's quite a long list!) but I can't deny that you play some decent stuff and I'd rather see teams who play the right way go up than some of the long ball, one dimensional teams that have prospered in the past.

I'm off for a lie down now, as all of this being nice has made my head hurt!

Was soft but it’s definitely a foul, he tried to win the ball whilst it was coming into Collins and pushed trough the back of him in the process. Collins was clever to go down when he felt him but it’s a foul all day long in this day an age. Think it was the young centre half who did it, looked a prospect and played well I thought especially given his age, but Collins was a little too clever for him all game and it started with that moment. By the end he was getting very frustrated. With a bit of experience he will be a real decent player I think.

I thought you looked a really good side to be honest, liked the look of Browne for you, proper nuisance all game. Brannigan also looked a decent little midfield player. Definitely the makings of a good side.
