Rochdale much better in the first half and Lincoln much better in the second half apparently.

That's about all I can comment on because I wasn't there!
As another non-attendee, that's exactly what I deduce from the Dale message board...

Fair play to Simon Grayson he got his tactics spot on we just couldn’t get going, the late goal was harsh as I thought a draw was about right but given the number of late goals we’ve had this season I shouldn’t complain

Draw was fair result. Both had at least one clear cut chance. We did play a strange team leaving our best two players on the bench mind.

Larry doesn't know his best team.

I think he played a team to stop us and it worked, there was no space for our forwards to work in therefore we didn’t create you many problems then instead of accepting it was going to be a draw we chased the win and got sucker punched.

It might still be early days, but it really is worrying times at Pompey right now - something is distinctly not right. The players look confused, off the boil, and aren't playing to each other's strengths at all. We spent up to £2m on a striker that makes intelligent runs and asks for the ball to feet and instead he ends up isolated for most of the game! Not to mention our square peg, leaky defence.

Patience is still required but I am really starting to get concerned about Jackett now, but hopefully we're all proven very wrong. The South Coast derby next week could be humiliating..

Played the only way we could against Doncaster. If we went full attack we would have got trounced with the way we have been playing , Grayson got it spot on after Saturday which was absolutely unacceptable . We have played crap in all our games bar the first two. It must get better especially the midfield play.

I for one hope you manage to beat Southampton . I cannot stand their fans .

Your form will pick up . It is so early in the season and with you playing 3 games less than us. Win those and you are right in the play-offs. There is no way in hell you won't be around the top 6 by the end of the season.

Appreciate the support (particularly in the first paragraph ) and hopefully you're right; it definitely is very early still. With the squad we have we absolutely should be up there. Downward spirals (especially when our increasingly impatient fans are involved) can be tough to stop though!

How’s Ellis doing?

He was spotted down the Mem the other week with Brown watching one of our games when you had a weekend off. Absolute hero, he will get a fantastic reception upon his return

From the few chances he's had, he's looked pretty good and has scored a couple (missed quite a few too mind). But as with a lot of the new players it's hard to see their full potential currently as the system just looks all wrong and unsettled. A lot of people want to see him in a 2 with Marquis, could be a good shout.

Fair play, he's a good L1 striker definitely. For his size I think he's actually better with his feet but he's excellent at chasing defenders down and winning flick ons for the supporting striker - definitely 2 up front suits him most.

Our flagship signing (the one that cost money!) Rhys Healey, is out for a 'considerable' time with a thigh strain.

Good Lancashire derby in the offing this Saturday. We always have a battle royal with them and sure last weeks set back against Posh will see them redouble their efforts, At the moment Highbury is turning into a fortress with no losses since February ( forget the summer months ! ) We've got good form going into this and Dempsey is really buzzing, 3-1 to the Cods

I'm off to the utopia that is Milton Keynes tomorrow, I don't even go in hope but I am optimistic we'll score more than 3, so 6-4 to Wimbledon Central.

Skipping Tranmere V Burton for the last game of the cricket season. It will rain, Tranmere will lose. Lucas Akins hat trick in front of the Kop.

RF, many said it, and a level above we said same to Luton fans, do you think you (fans)
expected more from club and manager, we're all alike mind thinking we're better than we are but then we hit that wall and the last few years hardwork seems to be forgotten.

Do we all, now, lack patience?

Hardly the last game of the cricket season, with County Championship decider to come? The rest of what you say wouldn’t surprise me, Lucas Akins, unfairly maligned at Rovers carved out a decent career for himself at Burton.

I very much doubt it. Although we have had a few reasonable scores we are not really making many clear cut chances. We battered Ipswich in the second half but never really looked like getting anything from it. If you score 3, you will win.

Our fifth clean sheet in a row (club record), 10th league game unbeaten, and 4th away win. Can't ask for anything more.

We won! 4 points from Peterborough and Burton is a great return for us. Great to get a win before a write off trip to Ipswich but huge boost for the lads that today!

You can question the quality in our squad, but not the team spirit.

Danns looks a great signing as well.

Well that was fun. I doubt the watching Michael Appleton will see a worse performance and questionable attitude in his next four years, should he see it out. To think with this same bunch of players we were top of the league a few short weeks ago.

Well played Oxford, thought they were excellent. I am hoping an Appleton Imps side will give you a much sterner test come the re match on Boxing Day.

MApp definitely won’t stand for that performance. One thing you can guarantee is that the same mistake won’t generally happen twice under his stewardship. He’s someone who, chooses his words carefully and delivers on what he says. I never got the feeling he ever said anything to pander to individuals. He’ll sort that out pretty quickly - if you guys even have an inkling as to what’s in-store for you moving forward you ought to be VERY excited.

On the subject of the game - we were good (it felt as if we were more efficient given the circumstances rather than simply a team that were outstanding; we just didn’t need to be much better than ‘good’). I’m far more staggered at how nondescript Lincoln were as a side. I readily expected (for good reason) a side that would really test us. Lincoln just looked anonymous.

All round a very weird game.

What a difference 4 days makes! Only seen the goals as not there but all looked good goals. Fosu's 3rd was spectacular but think Henry's is actually better purely because of the technique in volleying a spinning ball.

On Michael Appleton, I agree with General Lee but you have to give him time to get his ideas and way of playing over. He won't mess around with players and will get rid that don't work in the way he wants (Junior Brown in his 1st season) or has a tantrum (Liam Sercombe after Wembley because he didn't play).

If he only gets one idea across before Friday it will be an improvement on today. At 49, I think I could have made more impact than some in red and white.

FINALLY WE WON!!!! Today was like night and day for us, so much effort, everybody wanted it and we actually looked decent. The atmosphere in the away end was also superb, 2nd half we didn't stop, think we were just willing the ball to stay out of our net!!

MK were a little bit 'meh' one good move in open play and one good Oxley save from a freekick but they barely tested us 1st half.
2nd half they had more of the play and more of a go but didn't really create a clear cut opening, it was never edge of the seat, they'll score any minute stuff.
But finally I saw a Southend who had movement, were willing to block, tackle, do the ugly stuff.

I'd like to see Lennon's booking again as at the time I thought he might have been off, so could have got away with one there. But I've come back from a game with some positivity for the first time this season!

Henrik Larsson watching as well, he'll have liked what he saw today, not sure about him as a manager though, has an pretty poor record in his native Sweden.

Re. Lincoln, I think it must be pretty rare that any team gets shat upon that badly when the players have an incoming manager in the stands who they need to impress. Unless Oxford mysteriously signed the entire Man City reserve squad whilst no-one was watching.

I was expecting a bit more from Burton, who started with a lot of long ball, but looked more dangerous as they switched to playing more on the deck. After taking the lead, the Brewers had ample opportunity to put the game beyond reach. In that context the visitors deserved something from the game, but I’ll gratefully accept all the points, deserved or not.

This week can go fuck itself. 6 points turns into one thanks to injury time. Twice.
Only ourselves to blame.
Ah but the week before without injury time you’d have only had 1 point instead of 3
