Another win. Again, not so pretty but simple

Rochdale were probably the only side, other than ourselves, I've seen try pass on the floor consistently. However, their lack of threat going forward must be the reason they are towards the bottom.

Two mega games this week. Rotherham on Tuesday, Sunderland on Sunday. Both in Brum.

Coventry are looking good and it should be a good game on Tuesday.
The way you are playing is a bit of a surprise under Robins.
When he was our manager he was quite dour and defensive in his approach to the game. Has he changed his philosophy or has he just adapted to suit the players you have?

We were shite today and our inability to win promotion six-pointers away from home is going to cost us a place in the top two. Our next four games away from home are at Peterborough, Ipswich, Oxford and Rotherham. I don't see many points being taken from them.

Firstly the Imp and Angel is a cracking micropub, secondly decent atmosphere from the Lincoln fans despite that horrible "ultras" vibe they've got going on.

The football desperately tried to ruin the day by being absolute shit and I missed my train courtesy of getting on the wrong one resulting in an hour wait at the station, but all in all a reasonable day. Cracking away turnout as well.

He has done a remarkable job since picking up the pieces on our way down to League 2.

He clearly came to Coventry with a plan and the owners stepped up with that. He's managed to find some brilliant players who have made big progress. The players he has found clearly show he's wanted a certain style of play.

The majority of the entertainment was provided by the ultimate pantomime villian in Evans but bar a few chances a total non event.
A few lusty challenges and as has been mentioned a dopey ref.
Fair play to Gillingham for bringing over 600 with to watch that dour affair.

Another very good performance from Fleetwood, excellent defensively nullifying corners and set pieces yet still more than threatening going forward. Paddy Madden is leading the line superbly, a top class player working non stop. We out fought Pompey all over the pitch and you can see the spirit within the team is fantastic. If we can maintain this form we will have a good chance of making the play offs, having said that Sunderland and Ipswich away the the 10days....bring it on eh !

First stop was at Bury FC where 6 coaches were allowed to park up. 300 Millers were met by a number of loyal Bury fans who led us to the local social club.

It is so sad to see these dedicated people bereft of a football club due to dodgy dealings and a total cop out by the EFL.

Footy cards, raffles and memorabilia and bucket collections raised £860 for the cause and the local pubs/clubs benefitted from good takings by having some away fans to serve.

Onto Accrington by 2pm and we were well looked after there too.
A great atmosphere in the marquee and a last minute winner, what more could you ask for.

Two great clubs who are and were the bedrock of our league system.
All this money wasted in the Premier League, it's time more was directed down the ladder to keep our heritage.

Wycombe didn’t look as good as the league game at PP and while they deserved the win, the score line flattered them. Rovers just don’t look capable of getting out of trouble.

There are plans to do it again on our way to Rochdale in a few weeks, then the last away game at Bolton ironically.

We are benefiting from having Lewie Gibson and Callum Connolly on loan from Everton. Gibson is a left sided centre half , an absolute cracker of player, wish we could keep him, forming a fine partnership with Harry Soutar in the middle. Your lads have picked up some good form again, our penultimate game of the season is at your place, how much bearing will that have on our teams chance's of keeping a play off position alive ?

That may be a key game with it being so close between all the teams. Plus you are a bogey team for us with our record against you being awful (2 draws and 10 wins for you iirc) so I'd take a draw now!

It'd be nice if we can get Ben Woodburn and Liam Kelly back fit and firing as that'll mean real competition in midfield again so we can rotate players.

That said losing John Mousinho for a couple of months is a major blow but it gives Elliott Moore a chance to get a run and he has looked good in the last few games alongside Rob Dickie.

Agreed, whilst I believe both should have been thrown out, the double standards was very much against Bury. Both should have gone or neither.

Happy enough with a point at Lincoln, sounded like a fiesty game. Not sure what opposition fans are expecting from a mainly mid-table Steve Evans side other than direct opposition, but 15 games unbeaten and only 4 points from the play-offs suggests it's not a ridiculous tactic at this level. We still have trouble with scoring goals, but seem to keep clean sheets for fun these days. Got a very winnable game at home to Wimbledon next week, although they are an absolute bogey side for us. Win that and we COULD be just a single point off the play-offs going into the last couple of months of the season. Good times.

We knew he'd be direct, he always has been, but not to that extent. It was very much aimless hoofing at times just to keep the ball away from your goal (not that we were overly threatening anyway, the conditions didn't allow that from either side).

We don't have the most talented of squads, Evans is working wonders to get as much out of them as he is. The whole squad has been put together for very little money compared to a lot of our competitors. This style is what is it - but effective. If we had a few more quid we'd probably be able to get some more technically gifted footballers in and we might play a bit more football that pleases oppo fans....

The whole squad has been put together for very little money compared to a lot of our competitors. This style is what is it - but effective. If we had a few more quid we'd probably be able to get some more technically gifted footballers in and we might play a bit more football that pleases oppo fans....

But he kept us in the Championship on a much worse budget than every other team in that league.

It all ended badly here for reasons that were kept behind closed doors, but it was an exciting 3 years or so that's for sure.

His turnover of players was probably his worst trait, I think he signed over 80 players in his time here and that's not sustainable for a club like ours.

Paul Warne is much kinder to the Chairman's pocket but then we have had good money coming in from the sales of Ajayi and Vaulks to rebuild the team ready for this season.

He will probably get a mixed reception when he comes back because a good few supporters didn't like him, but he'll get a good hand from me.

I expect we'll lose Jack Tucker in the summer for very decent money, so it'll be interesting to see what SE manages to do with that potential windfall.

It wasn't a disparaging comment, there's no right or wrong way, it was just a surprise given the conditions/form etc that it all went a bit aimless when you had the wind behind you.

It's ok, I didn't take it as one. I think people assume that because we're on this run that we've been playing decent football throughout it - we haven't! Most games we play are pretty tight affairs that we either grind over the line or come up a little short and draw. We got beat very comfortably a couple of times earlier in the season (Oxford away, Rotherham home, both 3-0) and beat Bolton 5-0 but apart from that our games have been close more or less all season. It's the staying in games that's giving us our chance at nicking them, rather than blowing teams away as teams like Oxford tend to prefer.

The antics were pretty much classic Evans on Saturday, maybe he was doing it for old times sake as he has history going back with us probably further than any club.
Maybe he's calmed down as he still looks like a walking heart attack to me.
