Posh absolutely cruising 2-0 at half time against a very poor Bristol Rovers who are still insisting that Timid Tommy Nicholls is a pro-footballer...Timid Tommy has even picked up a booking which is possibly 1 more than the number of goals he will score again this season.

Wombles edged it and I cant complain with the result. Both teams had enough chances, but neither sharp enough when it counted.

We should have gotten something today. Dominated the first 15-20 minutes and could easily have been 2/3-0 up ourselves. But for the Donny goalie pulling it out of nowhere continually. We then slowed down and let Donny have the ball and in the second they took their chances. First had a fortuitous bounce to Marquis and the second there was nothing Oxley could do, turn and shoot. Third goal could easily have been stopped, slow corner and a weak shot which everyone just watched go in. We had a great fightback and could very well have gotten something at the death. One point that did irritate me was the two Doncaster players who felt the need to go down holding their heads twice in the final 5. They weren't touched, they were just trying to con the ref. One worked. Worse one was Tommy Rowe, stopped us from attacking and went down whilst banging his legs on the floor like he'd be shot. Embarrassing to say the least. Some positives from us though which we can build on.

You had 10 minutes extra to get a point when we were depleted, I’m not sure how you can really argue you deserved something, a bit embarrassing to say the least.

We dominated the first 25 minutes and could easily have scored. You are only looking at the final 10 minutes, not the whole game.

Always good to squeak a tight game. We hardly ever start the season with a win, so wasn't quite expecting today's result, to say the least!

That was too easy for us, Accy were shit and we were too good defensively and very good on the counter.
