The Barrow kit is very blue, I've always thought of them as wearing white shirts with blue shorts and then usually having blue sleeves or panels or something else so their shirt isnt plain white. However looking at historicalkits.co.uk it would seem they've never been able to decide on whether they wear white tops, blue tops, blue and white stripes, sleeves or even hoops.

You're a league team now, this tinpottery will not stand here, pick a colour and stick with it.

Also... just found out that the bee on the club badge superimposed on an arrow is because 'Bee + arrow = Barrow' :ffs:

It's on the town's coat of arms, not specific to the club itself.

I like badges with proper coat of arms and actual history/heritage involved. Proper Latin motto as well . Much better then most of the simplified shite adopted by most top clubs these days.

Yep, I much preferred our old badge before we adopted this simplified one 5/6 years ago.

We still have fans who refuse to buy club merchandise because we stopped using the town crest as a badge as opposed to the pigeon with a jester's hat on.

Never mind the fact that we only started using the crest in 1992, so had it for less than 20 years.

Our newer badge is shit. Our old one was so good it was nicked by Barcelona.

We also can't settle on a shade of blue. The previous chairman wanted to establish a "Barrow blue" and then launched a white kit with navy trim... the same time, he launched the new badge with a totally different blue on it.

Personally, I think of is as having white tops and blue shorts, though hopefully we are going to stick with a full blue kit from now on.

No idea when the nickname Bluebirds started, but it seemed a bit odd when the kit was mostly white.

Agree with Si Robin on that home shirt looking more like a training top. The black away one looks like a crap goalie shirt from the early 1990's. Two very poor efforts more suited for some Sunday league side is what I think.

I think there are a handful of L2 Clubs who also have Errea as their kit manufacturers. Ours has slightly different collar design to Carlisle so you'll probably end up with one of the two!

Nice kit but from a distance you'd think it was Walsall!

Slightly off-topic given it’s a different league, but has anyone seen the Brighton kit - a thing of beauty.

Believe ours was leaked onto our forum but the post was deleted. If any Vale fans have the photo then put it up!

those Grimsby kits look p smart tbh. think the Barrow home is fine, just a shame about the sponsor.

so much of a kit's look is the sponsor, no coincidence that Vale's best kits of the last few years have all had GMB on the front.

Some smart looking kits this year on the whole, like that Grimsby home one.

Nope! The post was deleted from OVF before I saw it.

I reckon our new 3rd kit is gonna be the Robbie Williams inspired effort.

Weird how opinions can be so different. Not a fan of our home shirt due to the lack of stripes but think the away kit is ace, nice colours. Third kit is very meh, different but nothing special.

I’ve got a mansfield face mask, least it provides a little money to the club

I am assuming it will be the case, although in what form who knows, apparently a bit of a story to it all which is why it’s being revealed the day before (assume Robbie is probably modelling it or something?)

I thought he was sponsoring it but maybe sponsoring it in terms of the charities for the concert.

I really like our home one, never thought I'd say that about a home kit for us without prominent stripes. Posted on The Fishy that it's nice of Errea to keep on brand and make us a third kit that looks like a salmon fillet. A haddock one would have been nice but would have clashed with the white on the home. Could have gone smoked haddock to be fair.

Well done, Adam. Absolutely essential for containing the spread of smug around the UK.

i'm sorry - that's just awful...up there with the Satanage Burger King one from last season...
One of the big disappointments of the season being cut short was not being able to see Stevenages away kit in the flesh. We were due to play them last day of the season.

Like the new Grimsby kits, but wish they'd keep the full colour badge on the away and third ones.

Hadn't actually noticed that. I quite like the fully black one on the third kit but, but it does indeed look crap on the away one.
