First home game since February that fans can go to and Kidderminster has had a few inches of snow overnight..... You couldn't make it up

Nice 6-0 win against Blyth, fairly regulation win with our goalkeeper only called into action 2 or 3 times. Blyth look nailed on for relegation unfortunately, need 4 maybe 5 first team players if they're going to stand any chance of staying up and it doesn't look like their owner wants to spend on them anymore. Our first home win of the season and starts us head back in the right direction as we start to catch up on the games from our FA cup run and Covid Break.

Feel sorry for Blyth in all honesty. The reprieve they got from relegation last season hasn't helped them at all. Bower used that time to turn BPA into a solid side. Blyth look rudderless, probably needed a season at a lower level to pull things together and get a competitive side together for that league.

Just simply not good enough.
If Wayne doesnt sack Heath when we fail to beat Blyth then we go down with a whimper.
We might still go down under a new manager but at least we will go down fighting.

Another 3 points on the road against a good Chester side, this side has now really started to gel and can only improve as one or two players develop match fitness. Looking forward to Fylde away now to start the New Year then Derby County and Wayne Rooney!

We're the best footballing side in the league by miles, might as well hand us the title right now, save us winning all of our games in hand to go top.

The standard of this league is appalling how the hell are we 4 when are playing awful.
Guiseley today never had a shot or corner till 87 minute. We must of 80% of play but looked slow and never put game to bed.
We certainly aren’t good enough to win this league. Can’t put finger on where it isn’t working.

Yeah I feel the same way about Blyth i don't really want them to go down. A local derby for one which attracts a decent attendance for us, also a decent away day trip just up the road.

As for the league below that division is getting more and more tougher as South Shields well know, could be Blyth's level for next season like? Hopefully they'll turn things round after the new year.

First defeat under Paul Groves at Brackley after 4 wins in 4. A few players missing from injuries, we've only missed 1 game all season due to covid, and a bit of a makeshift team. Fell to a late goal but we never seem to do well there. Another player went off to hospital as well but sounds like he's ok.

Looks like yesterday was a found fair well to a special ground.least went out with a victory.
Seems very bizarre that a ground that holds 8500 can only allow 627 in,only seated area allowed.
Thanks to all chavs from West Yorkshire and North East desperate for a drink and swamping the pubs, the rate has quadrupled in York so no more games for us,looks like first game in new ground will be behind closed doors.

Off the wall lineup for us today we played 4 fullbacks two of which played in midfield, Telford tried to play the high press but we were able to exploit their lack of pace at the back. Telford passed the ball well at times but they were totally toothless in the final third so turned out a comfortable win in the end.

We're getting quite good at these 'festive doubles'. Southport last year and now AFC.

Well beaten by a very impressive AFC Fylde side too many of our team were not "at it" today and it showed clearly.
Hopefully we play better against Derby in FA Cup next saturday

Unfortunately our game couldn't be saved by The Pride of County Durham despite having one of the best pitches in Europe. And by all accounts the pitch was cleared by fully trained pitch SNOW removers :ffs:

Ugly win tonight with ten men. Survived one of the worst refereeing decisions I've ever seen with Grand getting sent off. Will surely be rescinded on appeal.

A spirited draw tonight against a York side who looked very good in the first half. I’d have taken it pre-match, and both sides could’ve won it. Another biggie Saturday as we travel to Gloucester

Should of been out of sight in first half,2nd half pretty even but got to ask why Watson took Redshaw off with 20 mins to go winning 2-1,you totally bossed last it then and looked like only team to win it.
Fans are starting to get on Watson back,we have Dyson,Redshaw and Bunn who didn’t play tonight all conference level, but Cassidy playing every game up front who is Sunday league.

Oh definitely, we weren’t at the races first half and were lucky Jameson misjudged the ball for Keith to nod in. I think if you’d have got that second in the first half, you’d have notched up 3/4. I’ll need to see the penalty back though. Dyson looked good, had our left back on toast especially first half

Don't really have much to say about our defeat to a well organised Brackley outfit, other than we pussyfooted about to no avail with a vast amount of possession in our favour. We need to stop dithering and start shooting :conf:

Results went our way last night but a lot of changes coming up...

Gunning and Cole out for another 3-4 weeks still, would imagine both McClure and Mensah will need fitness tests before Kidderminster on Saturday. Tahvon Campbell's loan finished and he returns to Cheltenham, scored 5 goals in 6 games however that didn't really tell the full tale. 3 of those goals came in the 7-1 win over Malden & Tiptree and for the majority of his spell he didn't look particularly effectual. Will need replacing though as we're light in that area.

Expecting Whittle to go, possibly end up at Chesterfield as he's using the same "tactics" Carline did. Unlike Carline, who really didn't look much better than what we had, Whittle will be a loss as he's a hardworking, competent fullback who to be fair could easily play a level above. This is James Rowe's legacy unfortunately, bringing in players who are mercenaries.

Liam Daly has had an offer from Barnet, his old Solihull boss Tim Flowers now there of course. Big loss in the dressing room should he go, which I expect he will as by all accounts the wages offered far exceed anything we can come close to. But he's 33 and with players running at him at pace really struggles, but in the air is dominate and has a huge presence on the field.

Going to be an interesting week.

Appeals cost money and we have none.

Very good game management though ~~ impressive for us.

You should tell him he’s under contract and is going nowhere then if the other club still wants him they will have to wait or offer some money, worked well for us and got us 25k instead of bowing down and letting him go on a free.
