We're kicking off against Gillingham at 1pm, no stream and only 7 subs. Looks more or less the team which will start next week.

we had our kids out but to be fair we had our strongest team out last night and got battered by crewe

Your strongest team, on paper, doesn’t look very strong to what I was expecting.

They are Evatts players only Crawford played last night from our team last year.....He is playing 3 centre backs who i think are our weakest part of the team alongside very young keepers.
Politic is out for the season he will be a big miss and Darcy is just getting half a game from the bench.
Some of the defending for Crewe goals last night were slapstick

Currently watching the Plymouth - FGR live stream. Being played at a good intensity so far.
I must admit Forest Green look solid and well organised, if a little blunt up front. Not sure where the goals will come from. Moore-Taylor is a quality pick up if he stays fit.

A typical FGR performance this, lots of possession not much end product, and then give away a soft goal needlessly losing the ball and leaving ourselves exposed.

Agree about Moore-Taylor, looks solid and decent on the ball.

Rochdale at home at three, should be another test and being streamed so get to see it at least after two away wins where media coverage was banned!

Hopefully be a decent game, and give both teams an idea of how things are before the season starts.

Looking at our line up we have a few out... or we are still experimenting which would be surprising a week before! Should be a good test both sides have had good results so far.

Lost 3-2 to Wigan! Our starting line-up made up of fringe/youth players.

First team looks alright, but we don't have many players, especially with decent ones banished from the first team, so it's not all rosy.

Lost 2-1. Sweeney got a decent goal and we played pretty well second half until the subs came on,

Plymouth second goal typical of what happens when you play a high line/sweeper keeper set up, always in danger of the keeper being caught in no mans land.

You think you'd last a second wave with your wage bill?
Wage bill is well within the £1.5m Limit........6000+ season tickets sold circa £1m plus Hotel up and running once more. EFL money to come in. The club has very little debt why would we not survive?

First real good look at Danny Whitehead playing for us and have to say I like what I see. Been running the show in midfield so far. Worrall looking good too.

Rochdale look a tidy side. Some nice approach work from them also though the way they play it along the back line is a recipe to get caught out a few times I’d guess.

Seven internationals in the Burnley team, so not too bad all things considered. Both of our first choice strikers missed the game through injury, which is a concern.

There's just been a red card and a mass brawl in our friendly at Wealdstone, not often that happens in pre-season.

1-0 Vale right on half time through a Conlon penalty.

Rodney there’s a lot about his game I really like though his finishing and especially his heading appears a work in progress.

Good game as friendlies go. Rochdale probably played the better of the two sides. I really don’t like how vulnerable we are to teams down our left side though.

Yep, I'm watching the game on yt and it's more like some league cup game than a friendly. Good game to watch for the neutral fan. Agreed on your left flank, you do look vulnerable down that side. But tbf Rochdale do look one tidy side indeed but without the finishing of course.

Beats last weeks 0-3 against a Warrington team containing a tinker, tailor and several trialists .

Aye agreed on Rochdale. They play some really nice football. That lad Tavares on the left wing looks pretty rapid as well even if not quite giving the impression he knows what he wants to do with it at the end. Mills has competed well against him there.

On the plus side I think some of our approach work has been very good at times and our passing is being done at a pretty quick tempo also so am encouraged by that.

Beat Gillingham 1-0 with Danny Johnson scoring a 90th minute winner.

Our last friendly is away at Bishops Stortford on Monday, I'm still 50/50 on going as I don't want to turn up to watch a team of youth players and trialists!
